Two charged with murder

TWO men were charged in court on Thursday with the murder of a former gang member.
Ganesh Kumar Loganathan, 24, and Yogaraj Palanisamy, 26, are alleged to have, together with others, caused the death of Mr Lim Eng Soon, 39, a cleaner, at an open space between Blocks 141 and 144, Teck Whye Lane, between 11.45pm on Sunday and midnight.
Mr Lim, known as Black Panther in gangster circles, died in hospital after the assault.
The two accused were remanded for investigation until Feb 4.
If convicted of the capital charge, they face the mandatory death penalty.
