Suez Canal Blockage shows that Indians are all SCUM, IRRESPONSIBLE and Corrupted to the CORE

Well done Ah neh crew!

You just demonstrated to the whole world why CCP's one belt one road is required! LoL!

the ship's black box should be able to show whether the crew was at fault or indeed there was a sudden gust of wind which is quite possible too considering the mass of containers could act like a sail.

Maybe the Suez Canal is too narrow, like a virgin's vagina. So cannot handle a huge Indian ship.

Any able seaman knows how to navigate through winds and waves. This is basic skill required even for container truck drivers when they go for class 5 license.

If the crew can blame this accident on a sudden gust of wind it just shows how incompetent they are

Gusts of wind and sand storms have been happening in Egypt since forever,,,so with the millions of transits since the founding of the Suez canal ..this is the 1st time it has happened? and due to the weather? C'mon Man....

Considering the amount of traffic...surely the port authority have huge experience n knowledge to deal with such issues. Surely this is not the 1st time this has happened

Port authorities around the world would usually engage salvage companies to handle the mess. Port guys won't do the dirty work. They only provide pilotage service to guide any vessels coming in and out of their ports. And also importantly , any salvage job , one of the first task of the salvage master and crew is to look out for any oil spills due to environmental hazard. From the graphics posted by RT , this project at Suez Canal is quite a complicated task due to the size of the vessel , the narrow Suez Canal, and the load that the vessel is carrying. Probably need a shore based crane to do the lifting of the containers to ease the load of the vessel since using a crane barge would need alot of movement in that already congested area. Giant Crane barge is not like your typical normal ship. It's a big floating barge with giant crane on it for heavy lifting works and it needs to be pulled by tugboats. The vessel skipper and engineers will assist the salvage team in draining of fuel and ballast water. Once done the salvage team will takeover the vessel and the rest of the Ah Neh crew will be told to sit one side quietly

The skipper was wanking to porn and was not paying attention.

I C...but surely this is not the 1st time it has happened and there is definitely expertise to deal with it,,,but the media portray it like such a disaster and that no one can deal with it,,,,And I think the Captain should be executed for the amount of damage caused to the world's economy,,,but one point,,,for the Suez canal,,,do the ships need a harbour pilot to guide them through?

It's easy to wank when you're on board a ship, all you need to do is to stand on the upper deck close to the railing, tug your meat and shoot your seed into the sea, then carry on with your business elsewhere.

Hard to believe 100% neh crew on international shipping line. I dont think ship owners want that.

Normally the crews are mixed,,,and was told its often ah neh and pinoy crews....pinoys famous for being sea farers ....and a 100% ah neh crew is a recipe for disaster

It's not really a big disaster as compared to the sunken Concordia cruise. But whole world tulan because it jams the passageway of the canal causing disruption of other vessels and their supplies and the journey to their next port of call. As what one PAP minister said few days ago , it's like a traffic jam on an expressway causing huge bottleneck traffic. For sea crew, it's not fun anchoring too long and not moving. Boredom seeps in. Years back, when my tugboat was stuck in the Malaccan anchorage for 4 days, after 2 days of sitting idle, I also didn't know what to do to pass time until one of the crew suggested having a badminton competition on the deck. And for ship owners any delay to their vessels is a huge loss of money for them.

All the more reason to execute the Captain and maybe the crew,,,teach them a lesson they never forget,,,anyway this crew now marked,,,,will never get work again,,,and was the ship under the control of the harbour Pilot?

To be fair to the Ah Nehs, they, together with the Indonesians, the Malaysians have a long proud history in maritime with their maritime training schools long established before Singapore decided to follow suit by having our own training centre only in the late 2000s. Before that, we all went to Singapore Poly for our training. Singapore used to be the leader in salvage operations. Ang Moh salvage experts based in Singapore offices would train our local guys way back in the early 70s. Many of our locals went on to become salvage masters, superintendents. But many also have longed retired. Back then most owners of sunken ships in Asia would engage the services of Salvage companies based in Singapore. They trusted the expertise of our Sinkie crew. But now most crew are Indons and Pinoys. Hardly see any locals now working in this industry except for few local divers.

I know jiuhu kias who came for maritime training at Singapore Poly in the mid-late 1990s. Some are ship captains now.

Filthy Indians should stick to lowest end slavery jobs. They are clearly incapable of holding the fort.

Bubble Ong was very quick to give press statement on Suez Canal incident but I still think that he knows nut about international shipping. My uncle told me that Bubble Ong comment is based on PSA and MPA tip off. The people in PSA and MPA feed him with info and that is why he commented this in his Facebook

@zeddy 你是不是 agree ?

Yes many from Malaysia also went to SP and guys from my batch mostly full skippers now. They went on to further upgrade themselves after graduating. As for me, I can't be bothered to upgrade myself after getting my COC. That was 19 years ago. LOL.
