You can appeal for funds to pay for fine or to get out of bankruptcy as JBJ did. That is why it going to his wife's account. The funds cannot go into any campaigns. JBJ however was cautious not to use the party to do this.

It however does show how silly the man is. He got himself in this bind, dragged the cases, and got his timing and method out of sync.

I was actually surprised that he decided on this.

hahaha....who is going to audit the accounts and what happen if donations exceeded the targetted $20,000?

Paiseh....I copied the concept and received $588,000 donations todate and still counting.
Looks like there are more pple who believed in my cause than SDP's cause.

Seriously, can't imagine if everybody who got fined copied the method and ask for donations, the then whole judicial system can go to the dogs.
