Stage 4 cancer patient’s medical bills cross $750,000 and continue to rise

Separation - the separation anxiety derived from the forceful departure from loved ones can be a powerful force that drives illogical behavior.

Now is a time to see the thoughts , the Dokkodo or "The Way of Walking Alone" of Musashi Miyamoto. Still as applicable now , and in the future , as when he wrote it near the time of his death from lung cnacer in 1645AD.

The Dokkodo or "The Way of Walking Alone" was written by Miyamoto Musashi one week before dying, for the occasion where Musashi was giving away his possessions in preparation for death.

It was given to Terao Magonojo, his most skilled disciple in Niten-Ichi-Ryu. After the Gorin-No-Sho, Dokkodo is the summary of Musashi's life, his will and his philosophy.

The 21 precepts of Dokkodo:
1. Accept everything just the way it is.
2. Do not seek pleasure for its own sake.
3. Do not, under any circumstances, depend on a partial feeling.
4. Think lightly of yourself and deeply of the world.
5. Be detached from desire your whole life long.
6. Do not regret what you have done.
7. Never be jealous.
8. Never let yourself be saddened by a separation.
9. Resentment and complaint are appropriate neither for oneself or others.
10. Do not let yourself be guided by the feeling of lust or love.
11. In all things have no preferences.
12. Be indifferent to where you live.
13. Do not pursue the taste of good food.
14. Do not hold on to possessions you no longer need.
15. Do not act following customary beliefs.
16. Do not collect weapons or practice with weapons beyond what is useful.
17. Do not fear death.
18. Do not seek to possess either goods or fiefs for your old age.
19. Respect Buddha and the gods without counting on their help.
20. You may abandon your own body but you must preserve your honour.
21. Never stray from the Way.

the moment you are born
be prepared for death
face death squarely
and go peacefully
no need to trouble anyone
or enrich anybody
go peacefully....amen

just few words will do
all things are empty
all forms are empty
...do not cling to any.....they are all empty

Immolation in front gate of the Instana, is to sacrifice oneself in honour of the Installation of a Malay President....dying at home, is too quiet & undignified. To ease her sufferings, we should pray that Providence have mercy on her, grant her a remission ( like one we know) or have mercy grant her a peaceful transition to the next life & end her sufferings in this mortal life.

the minister may make use of the opportunity to have BBQ session with halal pork. do BBQ, do together

I noticed this amongst Ang Mos. Once they realised that it is no longer curable they will go public and minimise on cost. British MPs including serving MPs head to their public hospitals for their needs.

I do remember that once they allowed CPF members to use their funds for family, the demand for A wards shot up. It was crazy.

Even now young couple take up maternity packages with private hospitals not realising that once complications set in, the cost becomes astronomical.

she should be in position to demand full return of CPF now but not doing his becos the medicare will go also.

I agree too, she should immolate at the main gate of the Instana to celebrate the Installation of the Malay President of Singapura.

but the istana alrdy crowded with those from gallow... how to stay together and move ahead?

If I were her, I will probably ward myself in a Swiss euthanasia hospital and ask the doctor to make it as painless as possible. Hospital resources could have been diverted to treat those that have hope.

cancer means death
just go and give yourself a blast
don't trust doctors and expert oncologists
they are just as blur as you are
all they want is your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

To be brutal frank ... if Donna is unable to obtain more subsidy from our Govt ... what is the point ? If Cancer don't kill her, the huge Debt will.

... if Donna is unable to obtain more subsidy from our Govt ... what is the point of having MediShield Life ?

it is supposed to : MediShield Life is a basic health insurance plan, administered by the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board, which helps to pay for large hospital bills and selected costly outpatient treatments, such as dialysis and chemotherapy for cancer.

if really last stage liao, might as well own self treat ownself.
try all the myth and legend ways given on the interent
etc soursop
etc herbs
if die there is no loss.
if survive, he/she can patent their new findings.

Yet another fucking list of dos-and-donts.

It may be good for you to not pursue good food, great sex and not care about where you live, but I like those things and I am living great.

Maybe in the next 50 years or so, cancer maybe curable, but i dunno if the healthcare industry wants it.

there is already a cure
quantum physics therapy
you can change the DNA by its application
all cancer cells will die a natural death
but the big boys are hiding it
loss of billions if drugs and cancer treatment are stopped now
hospitals will close
doctors will be out of job

Cancer could have been curable decades ago. But it is more profitable to provide treatment than cure for cancer. So no cure.
