The EU nations are waking up. You don't mix business with politics. That's what the US doesn't understand, so bent is it on global military and political dominance.

There are two options china can take.
A) pursue a path of economic prosperity and free trade.

B) put their security interest first and starts bullying it's smaller Asian neighbours. Turn far East into china centric sphere.

These two guys will explain it very immaculately. Min 20.

China's options are limited to the degree that the US is pursuing its decoupling agenda through sanctions, tariffs, quotas and politically motivated legal actions, and enforcing these on its allies. Chip technology is one area, telecom another, EVs yet another.

America is the sole perpetrator of decoupling; China is merely reacting on the back foot. The rest of the world loses out, being forced to choose sides, resulting in the formation of incompatible trade blocs.

US plan will fail.
China is now the biggest consumer of goods.. Businesses that are forced to comply already complaining that their revenue for sanctioned products will cause a significant loss loss of at least 40% of total sales.
When it comes to motor vehicles before EV onslaught, China market is 30% bigger than the US. 20 mil v 12 mil. Same as other products.
