The COI findings are out. It slammed SMRT and reported that the Dec 15, Dec 17 incidents were preventable and were a result of SMRT's negligence.
SMRT was efficient, effective, spick and span before the negligent CEO took over. She made profits her main onjective and neglected other issues. The result - overcrowded trains, overcrowded platforms, congestion, commuters were miserable, trains were unreliable...until 15 Dec big incident. Fortunately the COI exposed much mismanagement within SMRT ...hopefully SMRT can prevent a bigger catastrophe.
SG was efficient, effective, spick and span before the negligent LHL took over. He made GDP growth as his main objective and neglected other issues. The result - SG overcrowded SG, overcrowded hospitals, road congestion, Singaporeans are miserable, crimes proliferated and law and order were breached...corruption erupted...Unfortunately, we dont have a COI to expose mismanagement in SG. Can the Parliamentary MPs help? If so, hopefully we can prevent the crumble of Singapore.
So what are the lessons the PAP take away from the SMRT debacle?
