Smart USA airlines stopped using fuel hedging since the last oil price drop while stupid SIA not just continued but do extra long period hedging

Okay, C-19 is a black swan event, but hedging is a function and balance of both "worst case" and
"happy ending" scenarios. Their hedging methodology destroys the very concept of hedging.

Ya what’s stupid SIA methodology indeed? Looks like they have indeed been idling. Not just USA but Air Canada also did a better job learning from their previous hedging loss.

The problem here is that for a company the size of SIA, we should not be offering blindly to
provide assistance without the board and CEO coming out with a proper plan on how they
intend to survive. Sentiments saying that they are out icon is no motivation for management
to develop plans, with or without time frames. Oops - forgot. Temasek big shareholder.
