How's everybody doing last weekend? Me, quite OK lah, afterall, it was my birthday week, making little profits from each visit and had great fun time. :p Spent most of the time at 10cts slot last week and can't be bothered to check out those favourite machines that usually occupied.

FINALLY the 5cts 5 Dragon 11109 was kind to me but VERY BRIEFLY only tonight Tues 5/7 !
This was the 2nd slot I played after the 2cts FK which was not good tonight compared with the 5Koi slot on the left side outside Fatt Choi.

Using slot credit I managed to get a VERY GOOD 10-free-game payout at 60 credits after playing for some 10 minutes (I think) at 11109
On just the last 10th free game, I had FULL 5 fishes (ie 800 x2) with 10x Multiplier giving 16k credits or $800 !
Printed out an over 1k ticket - decided to STAY & Play on (BAD DECISION !!!!)
Thought I could 'repeat Kia's 3x 1k recovery with 11109' - seeing it so RARE for 11109 to be kind/friendly to me too etc etc etc

Being overly stubborn etc (but half-expecting this to occur) I kept at it DESPITE 11109 turning BAD on me by NOT giving any further free games - LOST all tonight's winnings here plus large part of balance playing cash too :(

Can only blame myself for being so stubborn & wilful - wanting 11109 to turn itself around again etc
Perhaps I wasn't focussed bc altho' I wasn't in a Bad Mood, I certainly wasn't in my usual Good Mood
I had cancelled my 6pm spa appointment when my last 4.30pm appointment with clients at the office extended beyond the 1-hour time slot ending at 5.30pm latest - very trying, tiring/exhausting dealings which went past the time to almost 6pm - my spa therapist said since I could only be there around/after 6.30pm instead of the usual 6pm, I could only have a "shortened half-session" since there was another appointment for her at 7.30pm. At the end since not much point going for a half-session, I cancelled it instead.
I'm supposed to stop work at 5.30pm Mon-Thurs (instead of at 6pm as for the others) with Fri at 1pm (half-day) under Special Arrangements (Work-Life Balance)
Then also during the midst of further play (I'd replied to a friend's SMS earlier) discovered I couldn't find my handphone at all in my handbag, so spent frantic anxious moments in a frenzied search - luckily found it - I was 'seating ON it' on the slot seat without 'realising' that !!! Wonder HOW that could have occurred ??? So blurrrr :o

Then went to CE Area after 111109
Lost even the last 'spare' $200 notes on a couple of unfriendly CE slots

Did think whether to do an ATM WD for further play
Decided NOT TO since the slots were NOT friendly to me tonight
Managed to board a very crowded Express Bus home

Tonight's MISTAKES :
1. Too lazy to go to the Cashier 1st to exchange my $100s into $50 notes
2. Didn't RUN after the 1k winning ticket from 11109
3. Too stubborn : in not STOPPING and switching to other slots
4. Didn't keep balance capital and instead "haphazardly played and lost it all'

SIGHZZZZ .... would have been so much better to have that 1k ADDED ON to my then balance playing capital - Now ALL LOST ! :o :( :oIo:

bro it has already been more than two months since my self-exclusion. I have no regrets. Any withdrawal symptoms? well for a while yes and when I read some of our forummers's experiences here, I am comforted that I prevented myself from such situations. I could have lost a few $k had I not self-excluded (this is not to say I could have won but my experience has provened again and again that ultimately I lost money even temporarily won but did not run).

It is your choice bro, think about it, the lucky few who won big JP seems like a dream to many. I too had that dream but realised I am no match to the swallowing slot machines

Went Sweet Spot to redeem handmade chocs, macoroons and cookies, redeemed about $90. The pints will expire in two months time.

RWS has better redeem system as a better range of retailers like clothing, watches and fashion in addition to restaurants. I redeemed Ralph Lauren last month so redeem wisely


I hope MBS will offer retailers other than Celebrity Chefs restaurants. How much can one eat? I rather redeem clothes and wear them or give them away as presents. Got my brother a set of ralph lauren bermudas and tshirt. He was pleased and myself a few tshirts. Points are our money btw

I would think Annual Levy Expiry Date and PA Membership Date/Point Expiry Date are 2 SEPARATE DISTINCT Dates that are NOT DEPENDENT on one another as such

My Annual Levy should be expiring 1st 1-3 days in August (Need to double-check here !) while my PA Diamond Card states expiry month as being October 2011 (hmm .... took me less than 3 months to get to Diamond from scratch with my earlier more intensive higher-capital play then)

I've just booked my 2nd Hotel Stay for month of July using their latest $250++ Promo (for Room Certificates &/or PD Payment - see 5/7 email) - but very limited dates during last week July are available - no choice but to opt for Sun 31st July (Club Room again as I enjoyed that the previous time)

I suppose if you still go now & then - it should NOT be a problem to get them to RENEW your Membership Card. Otherwise can always APPLY for fresh new FREE membership ANY TIME isn't it ?

I'll be going for Andrew Lloyd Webber during my next Sat's Hotel Stay too BUT NOT the $195 Premier Seats - only 2nd Tier $115 tickets ie. $118 with the $3 Booking Fee (Paid for with my PDs but my friend will return me cash as 'her treat to me - she said to go for the CHEAPEST but I said I'll pay the difference here' while I 'pay' for the room etc)

IF still have lots of balance PDs (which I doubt so) will use for Lion King tickets !

Well, I don't play JesterPete's way (eg 3,7,10, 15 credits) coz it's stressful!! You may miss those symbol on the last reel that makes a great different on the payout. "Xiao Dao Kang Dai Shu" = (use a small knife to cutdown a big tree), it's not easy mate. 10credits ($0.50) winning 2,000credits ($100) is pretty normal, but 10credits($0.50) winning 14,000credits ($700) is quite amazing and this could be the only one hit out of 50,000 spins!

What I see most of the time people playing JesterPete's way missed the fifth reel symbol, quite pity actually. I once saw a man play fortune foo 20credits ($1) he could have win up to $2,000+ instead of $200+ if he bet 25credits($1.25) which covered the fifth reel, the payment for fortune foo with 9 stack foos and fullhouse same color lion is 1,500 x27 multiplier! The $0.25 saving made this man won $1,800 lesser !

I hate JesterPete's way, which I rather call it "167" (Yi Lu Qi) way, you may not agreed with me but I still like to speak my word, this is a sure lose method.

I have been following this thread for some time now and enjoyed reading everyone's contribution. I started playing slots after hitting a minor JP playing 1 credit last year at MBS. Since then, I have been playing 25 to 50 credits and occasionally 125 credits, but my budget of $300 to $500 can easily be depleted in 1 to 2 hours of play. However, my max win playing at this level was 5,000 credits for a single spin (win). I have since downgraded to playing 7 to 10 credits after seeing this old lady winning 14,000 playing 10 credits. With this, my budget can last the whole day and still see some decent wins between 2000 - 5000. I still occasionally play 25 to 50 credits on the Aruze machines and always play full line on the 1 cent machines.

Was at RWS on Fri.

As usual, went to Gold Rush. But, not much luck. Had a continuous string of feature on Where's the Gold, but nothing fantastic on the spin. Nevertheless, still manage to maintain my capital. [Somehow, I am kind of losing the interest in these Aristocrat games. Not sure if it is due to too much of the free games on Ipad.....emm.] When I was there, the JP2 was about ripe. Slightly crowded. Sat next to a friendly uncle who said that there a a group of Chinese players eyeing the JP. He was playing 30credits and I was playing 50 credits. He said that there is no need to play big. He has won a couple of times JP on 30 credits. Alas, the JP was released at abt $4800+, neither of us won and the winner was a aunty on small bet

I spent sometime exploring the other games since I was quite disappointed with Gold Rush. I played Jackpot Party 2 by ICT, specifically Treasures of Troy and Crown of Prince. Quite fun. Managed to win some small ($100+ progressive JP. I also explored new exclusive play areas for the Premium card holders. There are abt 30+machines with a good mix of Aristocrats, WMS, Aruze and ICT. Drinks and food (cakes, snacks and fruits) are available for free. Its a nice quite place, but I find that the payout is not so good. Feature seems to be more difficult to get (I think).

I also spent some time playing the WMS games, specifically China Moon, Musketeer, zeus and Sumarai ... In fact, I manage to win some there. It was quite fun.

Finally, I went over to the Cash Express. Well manage to hit 3 Train features within an hour of play. But I only manage to get one train in all and settled for 3 minis only.

I also spent about 20min on Aruze 2c. It was a waste of time and money there. I spent $50 to get a feature which only pays abt $10. I spent another $300 to get the second feature and was expecting a better payout than the last one. In the end, I only get about $25 win in the feature.
