Slot games, Casino Rewards & Privileges

Every round you get 0.44points and lose $10. If you want 1000 points I suggest you add another 0 to the bets i.e. 100, 1800, 1800.

I thought points are awarded based on play and not how much you lose? I don't play roulette so I don't know the policy there but from what I know points are usually calculated on play regardless of win/loss. In slots at RWS, you earn 1 point for approximately $200 worth spun. I am pretty certain of this because I usually count the number of spins before the point balance moves up and this happens whether you are losing or winning. Thus if a player's aim is to earn points, the strategy is to look for low volatility type of games which allow you to play more spins with the same bank roll. One of my favourite slots is the wheel of fortune one which nobody here seems to ever talk about. In most sessions, $200-300 goes a long way because the bonus feature triggers a lot easier than the aristocrat type of games. On an above average day my initial play of $300 can net 10 points without making a loss and if you keep on hitting the bonus, your game will continue to roll for a long time. There was one day I sat there for 5 hours with a bankroll of $500 and I netted 100 points. It's slow of course but you can manage your win/loss a lot better than many of the other machines. :)

if mbs states you need about 1000 points to reach paiza, how much i would need to put inside?

You need to put in $500,000. At mbs machine ( rapid roulette, dice or bacaratt ), every $500/- you bet, you earn 1 point. If you bet $3700 on roulette per game, u will earn abt 7.4 points. So if you collect 1000 points, u will lose abt $1350/-. not worth it

Of course, it depends on your betting total for your points award. For 5 hours you get 100 points. If you played for 1/2 hour you will get 10 points, win, lose or lose BR.
You have found your favourite slot machine. I am sure others here have theirs too. But I don't think for a moment you think your machine is set at a better payout than the others.
Now the gentleman has been given a target of 1000 points for upgrade to paiza. It is up to him to decide whether to meet the target and if he wants to gamble for that 1000 points or not.
The alternative I suggest to him is for him to buy the 1000 points. Incidentally it would cost him $23,000. A lot of money, but we are talking paiza.
He may also decide to gamble $3700 on, say, Red until he get his 1000 points and may win or lose or lose a lot more.
I myself use this roulette machine on the SC to push over the 12 points target to get a free cabin night. If I am already near the 12 point mark. Otherwise I would not bother.

Sorry if it came across as me trying to push my "favourite" machine but the more important point I was trying to raise was that if one's goal is to earn points and points is based on play, the better strategy for slots is to choose a low volatile game with more frequent payouts but fewer big wins. Of course the downside is that you are less likely to experience huge wins, but the medium size wins you keep getting is enough to extend your play with the same amount of BR.

I don't consider myself a big player but in the month of January, I did manage to clock about 1000 points at RWS in about 8-10 visits, each time with a BR of 1.5-2k. I played a mix of slots and table games. About 60% of my slots TIME was at the wheel of fortune machine and about 30% on Sex in the City (also rarely mentioned here) but also not a high volatile game, and the rest I did try out the Aristocrat, Quick Hit and also the Double Hit machines. Overall it was a "lucky" month for me even though I did end up losing about 2-3k in total because I had a few good sessions on the high volatile machines where I hit features very fast (that was in the beginning but towards the end of the month my luck dried out) which enabled me to play for extended sessions.

Back to the target of 1000 points for Paiza, there is also the factor of time he needs to consider. Frankly buying points should be the last resort unless he has not enough time and he has a lot of cash to spare, but is it possible to collaborate with another player to help you earn the points faster while minimising risk, for e.g. you find a partner/friend to play the opposite hand in Bacarrat and you play high stakes... your risk is the 5% commission over time for the one betting on Banker. Or find a partner to bet the opposite colour on roulette and the risk is on whether the ball lands on zero often enough. Or do the casino frown on such activity?

You are talking as one very lucky man here so far. The postings from others here don't tell the same storey. Just keep on playing and your points will build up to 1000 in a short time. And lose very little money as well. I think you know that slots has a 10% HA and roulette has a 2.7% HA. I don't want to debate whether overall it is better to carry on gambling on slots or roulette. It is a matter whether to push the gentleman over the top into paiza he want to gamble for it or just pay off the casino for it. That is up to him to decide. You advice to him is quite clearly stated here.

I think the only real slot winners big or small are the casual players like tourists, bf/gf come together having fun, tampines auntie drop by cas with friends n got car donate to temple, maids accompany a-ma slot in $10 get free spin,
because whatever they make they so happy clap hands go home...they're the winners. The hard core regulars big or small when win also happy but come back the next day, get eaten up. Real slot winners are those who don't play or give up playing...me trying to achieve that goal, tough but slowly getting there I hope.

I thought playing Rapid baccarat is better choice to earn points without losing a single cent? Rapid roulette has 0 but not Rapid baccarat. Just bet the same amount on Player and Banker and each game you have nothing to lose but gain points. The higher you bet, the more points you earn, correct me if I am wrong.

Why bother to be a Paiza Gold or Platinum member when they reward 1.5 Sand dollars for every point you earned, don't tell me one who hope to enjoy the free meal, valet parking, 4 nights hotel stay and free limo service (platinum and above)? Well, a Paiza card can't guarantee you a parking lot at Paiza reserve lots during peak hours, still have to Q to check in hotel, call your host who may be forever on leave, off or MC, or even request 3 months in advance to book for a Straits suite on 8 Aug, 24Dec, 31Dec and they inform all suites were fully booked..... I am not sure about other Paiza members, for my status even as at platinum level, I am still a nobody. Is it because I am a person who do not like to make noise / feedback?

Are you sure your are counting GD or GPoints? RWS rewards GD at 1.5, 1.75, 2 and 2.25 GD per points. I never really go and count how many points I earned each trip.
For the low volatility type of games, I agree with you but they are usually not attractive, a slot lover don't pick them and a non-slot player doesn't know which games are low volatility.
By the way, your 8-10 visits with 1.5-2k BR earned you 1,000 Gpoints is pretty impressive.

I was really was points because I get 1.5 GD with my gold card. I had only around 30 points in Dec because I don't play regularly and was trying to see if I could hit the 750 to maintain the card. Over the month of Jan most of my sessions ended up with profit (not big but still profit) and by the end of Jan my points hit 1033 and my GD was about 1.3k after spending about 400-500 of it on food, shows n USS pass :)

I consider myself quite lucky that month but unfortunately it started to slow down in Feb. So need to take a break to recharge :)

Rapid Bac you cannot bet P and B same time. You can get a partner and play opposite side and share the loss. The B 6 you paid 1/2 win and theoretically it comes up 1 in every 18 rounds. So actually the HA is 1.35%. The little secret is they give same points to both players as in Rapid Rou.

Rapid Rou they can lock one side i.e. only red or black but RWS has not done it. In the US they have lock one side only bet.

Sorry I miss your posting. Let us look at the maths. Every $500/- you bet, you earn 1 point. Roulette has a 2.7% HA. So $500x0.027=$13.5 loss. So for 1000 points you pay $13.5x 1000= $13,500. Looks like you miss out one 0.

I hate maths and have too much thinking during works, I don't like to use my brain anymore when I am in the casino.

The staff will approach you soon and upgrade your card to maxim.

So we actually cannot bet on Red&Black or Banker&Player at the same time, I didn't know that. I used to try once or twice at the Rapid bac and anyhow bet at all blocks where allow me to bet and I still won! Sic-Bo, worst, don't even know how many is Big and Small, also tried before and bet anyhow and won, still I just don't have the interest with table games, they are so boring and no music to listen.

Kia, where is hokkian. any news about her/him. Looks like you are the Last Mohegan or Kaki left.

walau you guys sure can go very technical, i dont know if its a + or - to have the paiza card, but i'll just stick to normal slots play and collect points gradually.

Maybe Bro Hokkian is busy recently and not free to post, he will be back here for sure.

This thread basically discuss about slot games and I believe many bros and sis still come here to read slot news, rumours, recent experiences and happening at our local casinos. Just that some have reduced their trips and have lesser to post.

This is a good idea.

Highly unlikely. I am about 1200+ points away from Maxim and also I think January was not a "usual" month in terms of luck for me. I am grateful for the good run and hope that the rest of the year will be just as good. I didn't have big wins nor did I bring a lot of money to play, what was lucky was every time I went down, I hit a big enough feature or I had a good break at the table games to get back to break even. I think we know that this is not the case most of the time as for the last 2 previous years whenever I went "down" I rarely found a way back to positive during the session. :) Good luck to everyone here!
