If this is accurate, this is quite cheap. It works out to only about $500 per year in forgone interest if you make the deposit. You earn commission from the rolling and you get the prestige/benefits of walking around with a Paiza card without having bother about gameplay to keep your Paiza membership.

i go up there for the buffet with 9 Genting points and free orange juice/better coffee (haha)

to get Silver...just go to Malaysia Genting to upgrade from green to silver (as overseas guest)
then reconvert back to silver in Singapore with your new silver Genting card
