Was it MADU TIGA. It also featured the original geylang Serai and yes, the old SHAW HOUSE next to LIDO

Yes MADU TIGA, it was in B&W right, and Geylang Serai, but I know Shaw House well, even for the smell of the interior...remember Chartered Bank was on the right hand downstairs corner & couldn't remember the old time company office on the left, before KFC took over & CB became SCB, Standard Charted Bank ( Tanglin Branch).

There was a movie by him, shot in B&W or was it colour? a comedy about a man with three wives, shot on location at Shaw House Orchard Road...I remember that building very well & P Ramlee movies...
