Another location worth considering coz it is criminally under-utilised is the Istana. Won't have car park problems. Lots of privacy. Can collect entry fee to help pay TT's salary somemore. Great idea?

A better prospect is in the Oxley Road area. For years the house prices in this area has been depressed because of the old goat. No one wants to live in the same neighbourhood because of all the restrictions. When he ups the lorry expect the prices to skyrocket.

Was previously told banks not keen to offer loans for houses in Geylang. If they do, maybe 60% of valuation? Need to have lots of spare cash to invest in Geylang properties.

I'm really surprised by that because I always thought that banks are immoral. As long as one is credit worthy you can borrow $ . If one can get a return of 25k to 50k per month, the loan would soon be paid off.

20 freelances working on the street , each freelance have 10customers per night , each customer pays $12rent per single shot ( street 21 " hotel " charge $12 per shot not per hour ) .... one month =$72,000 !!!!

I was talking to a friend in Batam & he was telling me that in the good old days a brothel owner would make SIN$1 to SIN$2 million

So when see these poor looking indonesians don't assume they are poor.

That info of mine came from a friend who owns at least 5 properties in Geylang. He is cash rich, so no problem for him.

Not sure if it is that lucrative. 50-60k a month was the norm in the past - licensed OKTs for Malaysian and Thai gals. Anywhere below 20k and you can be classified a 'failure' in this profession. While the M'sian gals charged more, the Thais depended on volume/turnover.
