Why do you want a commonwealth with China ? What is the meaning of Commonwealth ? What is commonwealth to China , how does China understand commonwealth ? Does China honor rules ? Do they respect rule of law ? Or they can only understand Rule by law ? I think George Yeo understand China but he don't understand how does a CCP think .

A commonwealth (loose alliance of independent nations) will never work.

1. PRC wants reunification, not alliance.
2. KMT wants status quo, not alliance.
3. DPP wants independence, not alliance.

The rest of the world (apart from the US) wants status quo and peace and just get the fuck on with manufacturing iPhones and chips and trading and making money.
