Singapore KFC taste like shit...

.

during the 1980s during school vacation there was

a recuirtment drive for executive trainee ( something like that )

during that time KFC in Singapore was run by a Japanese ( i think

GM ) Mr Kawazawa like that . KFC owner then was a Malaysian

i think Mr Loo ( died since i think ) ...

to keep short ... during the recruit talk at DBS auditorium

they said they buy chicken from India and each whole

chicken can cut into : 2 wings , 2 drums , 2 ribs and 2 breats

, maybe more pieces ???

Guess how much they purchase each chicken from India ????

Ans : S$2.50 (sing) only .... Yes S$2.50 only (thats in the

1980s )

Bros just estimate yourself how much KFC make from

each whole chicken !!!!

wahlaneh...
just 1 hormone-injected overgrown chick can bring up so much history liao.:D

wahlaneh...
all these fastfood restaurant chickens are injected with hormones right from their chick stage to make them grow old faster.
caution: for all u know, u might be eating just an overgrown little chick.

I think the ones they use in Spore are a rushed job They don't even wait for the hormones to fully take effect :) They're so much smaller that what you find in Malaysia

Each plastic bag contains one chicken, pre-cut when delivered to KFC restaurant, cut into 2 drums , 2 thighs, 2 wings , 2 ribs and 1 breast.

The good thing is they don't serve the back of the chicken, in a chicken rice stall, they would make maybe 2-3 servings from the chicken back. You can tell it is the chicken back because there is only one thin layer of meat between the chicken skin and bone

(executor of the estate of Loo Cheng Ghee)

GOPAL SRI RAM JCA

N.H. CHAN JCA

DENIS J.F. ONG JCA
26 OCTOBER 1998

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Judgment

Gopal Sri Ram JCA

(delivering judgment of the court)

This appeal has been brought against the decision of the High Court at Kuala Lumpur granting the respondent (‘the plaintiff’) certain relief, including a declaration that ‘the plaintiff as executor of the estate of Loo Cheng Ghee (‘Loo’) is entitled to the sum of RM3,500,000 presently held in an interest bearing escrow account in the name of Messrs Nahappan, Dorairaj & Danker as stakeholders.’ The appellant (‘the defendant’) has argued that the judge should have refused the declaratory relief sought and dismissed the plaintiff’s originating summons.

When the appeal was called on, counsel on both sides informed us that the only point at issue before us was one of limitation. However, in order to appreciate the context in which the point arose, it is necessary to hearken to the factual background against which this appeal rests. There is a long history to the controversy before us. But there is not much dispute about the facts.

The defendant, at all material times, was a licensed commodity broker. It bought and sold all sorts of commodities in the futures market on the floor of the Kuala Lumpur Commodity Exchange (‘KLCE’). It was a member of the KLCE. It was also a member of the Kuala Lumpur Clearing House (‘KLCCH’). Supervision and regulation of commodity futures trading was in the hands of the Commodity Trading Council (‘CTC’). Contracts for the sale and purchase of commodities were governed by the rules and regulations of the KLCE and the KLCCH.

Loo was a client of the defendant. He placed orders with the defendant to buy and sell palm oil in the commodity

1 Review for “KFC Chong Pang (Chong Pang)” - Restaurants

Wahlabee 16 Sep 2009 at 11:06 am Report this Review as Spam Inaccurate review?

This outlet of fastfood is small and they have pizza together with KFC. You can order both KFC and pizza while sitting there for a meal.

But the service is terrible.
Their tables are not kept clean. Even after the customers who left 10 minutes ago, their trays are still on the table and the staffs didn't even bother to clean up.

Since the place is quite small and it is not crowded comparing to other outlets, I supposed cleaniness is important to a food industry.

I have to repeat 2 - 3 times for my order to this guy and I couldn't catch what he say with his english accent.

I had rather dine in outlet elsewhere, seriously.

Just look at QSR Brand 's share price : shooting through

the roof !!!! last aug 09 RM$2.73 today RM$4.52

Bro i suggest you buy QSR 's shares at RM$4.52 better

than buying the "3 piece meal" about S$7.00 :D

I believe it is a total waste of money to even eat at any of the fast food such as KFC and Mcdonald. The price paid for a small fries, we can easily get a wholesome economical meal. Besides, the coke and other soft drinks sold at these fast food suck. They are marked-up 200% and taste diluted. I rather buy a big bottle from supermart that taste so much better and straight from the factory.

wahlaneh...
i used to have that too at Kallang Bahru branch, Kallang branch, East Coast Park branch, etc...
they used stainless steel knives n forks with bottles of chilli sauce n tomato kechup n the bun came with butter n they used porcelain chinaware.
now no more liao lah.:(

hehe, i am staying in geylang bahru...! yeah, i still remember when i was young, we use forks and knife to cut the kfc chicken.wow, i still can remember how great the taste is at that time. The juicy from the meat, the freshness and the size compare with the current kfc chicken, is much more bigger and the meat taste more better better a hundren times.

I ate at kfc last week, and believe it anot, it was my 1st time eating since 3 years ago.3 years ago, the taste of our kfc was already like shit.

Now, i thought of giving it a try again.shit, the taste like shit again. The meat so hard, the size so small, where is the juice?and it taste like overcooked.
look like what some brothers here said is correct, they recooked again again and again???

KFC in the cities of China are the worst. Surprisingly, Macdonalds there is better than Singapore's.:)

It is not about if the country is first world or not. Shit is really suitable for some and Malaysians are not, they deserve something better than shit.

If you think Malaysian food is better, than you are not part of the rest of the shit. Good for you!!!

KFC in malaysia owns nearly 60% of the chicken farm plus they use CHILLED chicken most of the time while Singapore use FROZEN chicken.

There lies the perenial answer.

PS. BTW KFC's owner in Singapore is also owner in JB. Want good KFC in Sg go to big splash.

It seems to be a mixed bag elsewhere. Sometimes KFC chicken can taste pretty uninspiring and sometimes it can taste so good you'd feel like singing a song.

And sure, thanks for the advice.
