What to do Design and built by Mitshubitshi Japan but mostly work or installation done by Ah Neh from India. Don't know anything about the Mechanical/Electrical they just follow order like tighten this, connect here(do this do that).
That is what I have encounter with many of them. But they are really hard working and follow order but lack of knowledge.

Oh..My friend, there is a difference..
Our leader likes to brag endlessly about political leaders here being the best and the brightest and consequently they deserve the astronomical amount of salary.
As the peasants are being constantly reminded that the leaders are the best and the brightest, logically the peasants expect our leaders to be the most capable and invincible.
So... is it not logical for people to clap as and when there is a slightest screw up?
No other leaders of foreign countries brag and boast about themselves the way the leaders here do..as they need not do so in order to justify their salary.

There are indeed differences....first all the events i stated were created by the politicians, and for the politicians...
the recent landslide in KL was a good example how corrupted malaysian ministers are....and how abt mr Najib...
did u see any of murder linked to sing MPs? are there any deeds done by sing govt that causes a dip in tourism? or causes bankruptcy like Iceland?
Unless the SIngapore Flyer was designed, build, and erected by the hands of the MPs, then they will be critised...
Furthermore, this incident is nothing compared to the CEOs of many USA banks that single handlely wipe off billions of dollars and costs worldwide suffering...

Ha Ha. Some MP proudly described Spore Inc as being run like a corporation. So very true, Corporations don't take responsibility for their actions, this is true in Spore or US. We can only speculate Temasek losses because its a state secret.
If you think Temasek losses is nothing, consider the impact of these losses: you are now paying more for utilies, public transport, etc AND you'll probably NEVER get your CPF out unless you live into your 80's.

SINGAPORE: The Singapore Flyer observation wheel may be closed but New Year partying will still go on, at least for one of the tenants at the tourist attraction.
According to the observation wheel operator, the newest tenant "Love The World" is staging a free concert.
It is hoped the New Year's Eve party will help draw in the crowds.
Business has been affected since the wheel's closure.
The operator says it is coming up with proposals to help its tenants tide over the closure period.
The Singapore Flyer suspended operations after an incident on Tuesday stranded scores of people in mid-air for nearly seven hours.
A technical malfunction had started a small fire, triggering a power outage and grinding the wheel to a halt while 173 visitors were inside the Flyer's enclosed cabins.
Some were rescued to the ground after they were winched down using ropes while others were able to walk out of the cabins after the Flyer resumed rotating.
Singapore Flyer is currently investigating the actual cause of the incident.
This process involves the wheel's builder, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and the Police.

Because Malaysian 'attractions" are operating like our now bankrupt "theme parks" like Haw Par Villa and die already Sentosa. Entrance fee, go 1 attraction, 1 fee. Go another attraction in same compound, more fee!

It is already explained why over a small incident, we will stand up and applaud. The govt is paying themselves megadollars and we got no say in it. So this is our only way to ease the frustration.
