When I was in Brunei recently, I was introduced to another string instrument - the gambus!
The gambus has Arabic roots and also a long history in the traditional Malay music of Brunei and Southeast Asia. Will try and figure out how to play it over the holidays

Happy to launch the 4th tranche of CDC Vouchers in 2024. This is part of our ongoing efforts to help Singaporean households cope with daily expenses.
The $500 CDC Vouchers will be evenly split, with $250 allocated to heartland shops, and another $250 allocated to participating supermarkets.

Mr. Ho Weng Toh, a Flying Tiger, has returned to the skies, leaving behind a legacy of courage and aviation excellence.
His legacy is marked by both his heroic contributions as a Flying Tiger during World War II and his distinguished career as a pioneer pilot with Singapore Airlines.
My deepest condolences to Mr Ho’s family and loved ones.
