Singaporeans never needed LHL to be the PM EVER. He was put in that position by the combination of his domineering father and weak minded colleagues who did not dare to go against them.

I do not believe that Singaporeans need LHL to be the Prime Minister until COVID 19 is resolved
But I do believe that the PAP does not have a monopoly of able and talented individuals, and ideas.
There are several Singaporeans who are able, qualified and experienced to chair the COVID 19 Task Force, or to manage Temasek, or to be High Court judges, or to lead GLC's.
But sadly, the government or the PAP has chosen to turn a blind eye.

Agree. Singaporeans need to be caring and compassionate. HSK needs a long rest. He has enough $ to retire now. Let’s help him retire.
