As expected, her apology is half-baked. She said during the press conference that what she had said had been misunderstood by people and indirectly hinting that people's misunderstanding of her has resulted in the incident which had turned the mood over Singapore's first Olympic silver sour.

There is no misunderstanding. She had said with no uncertain term that the team manager's service was no longer needed and that the chief coach's fate would be decided by Coaching Committee.
