I don’t regret being childfree. But in the back of my brain, “what-if” and “if-only” thoughts nag at me. Sumiko at 61: No children, no problem? 4 areas to plan for as I won’t have kids to count on.

why is this shrivelled abalone still let loose on the streets to scare the daylights out of little boys like me

She might as well end it early.

Not having progeny is akin to a life sentence. Just waiting to die vs looking forward to your spawn thrive.

In simple term :
  • "Childless" often implies a situation.

  • "Child-free" emphasizes a choice.

She gave me the impression that she'd never had a real orgasm before in her life.

S'poreans who keep voting for the PAP and expecting the Govt not to keep milking us are: not mindless ok! They are just mind-free (not using their minds), understand?

I remember meeting a 32-year-old colleague who kept telling us that she didn't want to have any kids, at a gynaecologist's clinic in Gleneagles Medical Centre, while I was there with my wife more than 25 years ago. Why is not being able to conceive viewed as a stigma by some women, that they must pretend they don't want to conceive?
