The main issue is..hawker centres are not cheap n in certain ways...restaurants offer more value
Tangles Restaurant at the Tanglin Club, charges members a mere $8.80 for fragrant Nasi Lemak in air-con comfort. It comes in a generous serving that includes a crispy chicken wing, sunny-side up egg, otah, ikan bilis as well as roasted peanuts. Definitely more value-for-money vs those at hawker centres and coffee shops selling for between $6 - $10.

Is it open to the Pubic?

so the rich and atas members of Tanglin Club oso behave like low cheap ses over a $8.80 nasi lemak one ah?? jialat siah .... :roflmao:
The Tanglin Club entrance fee starts at $100,000 for ordinary or lifetime membership, with monthly fees of $107 per member to $214 for couples as well as families. I pay whatever price is reflected on the menu at the poolside coffee house or restaurants at the club.

Ooooo .... so that Ah Fool was referring to you when she made that kind of remarks ..... she not wrong then.
Dis-Grace Foo does not speak for me. This more accurately describes how I feel: "If I am able to pay S$8.80 for nasi lemak at an air-con restaurant in a private club, why would I pay S$8 for nasi lemak at a hawker centre?"

Our time on earth is limited, so do not spend it living someone else's life.
