Prefer fish. Chicken wing is not real Nasi Lemak.Where's the chicken wing? At best, this should sell for $3.50.
“The most expensive nasi lemak I ever had in Changi Hawker Centre,” online user Joanne Seah wrote in a complaint forum. “I think our government should control hawker food. Ask the seller if she (would) pay S$5.00 for this plate. Just an egg and begedil (deep-fried potato patty).”
Typical pig sinkie. Still paidBodoh, you're paying for the rent, and the carbon tax.
Once again, daft Sinkies think the origin of the problem can also provide a solution. Stop thinking of the government as some benevolent parent figure who always looks out for your best interests.

Yes haven't you asked?Nasi lemak got begedil? Since when?
From what I know there should be peanuts and anchovies.
yeah i know. But ikan kuning isn't as satisfying as chicken wings lah.Prefer fish. Chicken wing is not real Nasi Lemak.
come to think of it, you are right. That dish should just be $2.00. And $3.50 with a chicken wing. You are far too generous. Such a dish SHOULD NOT even be allowed to be sold even at a Hawker center. Such is a SCAM.
The insignificant nobody me have no issues in paying $20++ for a plate of chicken rice at Raffles hotel. Such costs are for the ambience, the really great food served, the service, etc.
However, for that scam plate of rice & egg, etc sold for $5 at a Hawker center which have NO such environment or even boasts of any skill level, it is a scam.
It may be that the stall owner is having financial issues, struggling with debts that he resorted to such costings or he may have delusions of grandeur that the rice & egg were specially created from a recipe made of gold....
His responsibility is to serve good food at reasonable prices, more so at a Hawker center that is SUBSIDIZED by taxpayers. He may have personal issues, but that is HIS OWN PROBLEM to deal with AND NOT pass it on to taxpayers by FLEECING them.
For anyone whom needs a quick fix with rice, there is even instant cup rice sold at Sheng Siong supermarket that costs only $1.50 per cup. Just add water & the condiments, after 5mins, its a go on the move, than to be fleeced by those whom we taxpayers are attempting to uplift.
Thanks for your response Mr Glockman.come to think of it, you are right. That dish should just be $2.00. And $3.50 with a chicken wing.
You are generous with your compliments, and I humbly accept them. We all do our best in life, and we must be fair to others. Thanks for your response Mr Glockman.
You are a generous & kind man, whom had made your wealth through decades of hard & smart work, with the opportunities that our hardworking & intelligent Founding & forefathers had given us for our todays, which CANNOT be taken FOR GRANTED, by those whom have ulterior or delusional cushy dreams at expense of others aims to make use of our mostly educated, intelligent & responsible citizens seeking for what they had PLEDGED since their formative years....
Prefer authentic.yeah i know. But ikan kuning isn't as satisfying as chicken wings lah.
You are not obliged to buy if you find the portion unfair if you have not consumed it and have not left the stall I.e during payment time. Once you leave the stall then you cannot get the refund. It seems like whatever the Seller say its price, the Customer will be first shocked, follow by LLST pay up.
But what will happen IF the customer just walks away, citing the price too expensive, dont want anymore
Can the Seller call Police on Customer because of this action ? If enough Customer walk away after hearing the inflated prices
Will the Seller reconsider their pricing, lower down to match public expectation. If not Seller will have high food wastage & losses
If the public continues to pay their inflated price & just KPKB online later, this pricing hike will not change
