When the Diamond Princess was moored in Yokohama port the number of cases and deaths was treated as a separate entity. They were not included in Japan's case count despite the fact that the ship was in Japan's sovereign territory.

So when reporting the stats this coolie workforce should be a separate count labeled "Bangla Dormitories" and excluded from the Singapore count.

This will then give a far better picture of how things are going for the actual residents of the Island.

Otherwise we'll end up in a situation where, a month from now, there could well be ZERO new cases among citizens and PRs etc but the lockdown can't be lifted just because the virus is still spreading in a bunch of foreign workers.

Nobody is suggesting that we massage any numbers. All I'm suggesting is that we separate the dorms from the rest of Singapore so that a far more accurate picture of what is actually happening can be presented.

The data will also better indicate when we can end this circuit breaker rubbish and go back to work.

Japan made a request to relevant bodies not to include the cruise ship numbers in its official count. SG numbers are skewed, not much to worry for now unless the local community cases start to pick up again.

.. but increased healthcare capacity with increased mitigation for vulnerable people seems more and more a plan.

Increasing health care facilities and hospital bed was never part of PAP economic plan. Herd immunity will cause hospital infrastructure to collapse. The same scenario happened in previous MRT saga (from passengers overload, to regular breakdowns and floodings) will happen to Singapore Hospital during pandemic. PAP has admitted, they do not have the luxury of the benefit of hindsight to begin with. Singapore is screwed up big time.
