hi, monday i leaving sg again. can anyone please tell me what type of self defence weapon is allowed to caryy by an idividual in singapore? thanks.
gun sure cannot , how about knife or pepper sprayer? any advice

Your arms and legs are the best weapons! Otherwise, try carrying an umbrella, walking stick, golf club, snooker cue, baseball bat or squash racket.

Don't bathe for 2 weeks. Your BO will repel all would be assailants.

I put hockey stick and also ball in my car. In case police as me what for. More convincing if you have all the items for the sport together.
So do if you put baseball bat make sure bring together the ball and glove.

Do you know martial arts? If not, the weapons that you intend to carry and wield wont do you any good either....

If you do martial arts a metal pen is sufficeint to incapcitate the guy in a life and death emergency, otherwise just give the robber your fucking money..its a whole lot easier and yo can claim insurance for it. Do not escalate a simple roberry into a full fledge fight invoving weapons...the moment that you present your blade to the robber, you make him more determine to kill you and on the other hand the is no other way for you to get out of it unless you run or you have to the same..cut him down..legalities will catch up with you..pocesssion of concealed weapons, causing grivieous harm yada yada yada..not worth all the shit..

i think the same too, i always carry a pen, metal pen. abit expensive.

If you have the budget, and your really need a defensive equipment, get a tactical torch, these torches are made of aircraft aluminium and can be used as improvised impact weapon or the light source from these torches can blind and/or disorientate anyone in the dark and give you that few seconds advantage to scoot off - They range from 80 to 500 lumens, brands like SUREFIRE amongst the most reliable etc They cost anything from S$120 for a 80 lumens onwards, its not uncommon for the more advance models to cost nearly $500 each.

You said leaving singapore, so I assume you are talking about clearing custom. All self defence weapons that have potential to harm are not allow, not even pepper spray.

If you going to India, suggest you pack a sarong, songkok and quran so in case of another mumbai style attack put them on and face west and pray like a muslim. Those muslim terrorist will pass you over for non muslims.

On board a passenger airliner, there's no right to weaponry for self defence.

Upon arrivial at destination wherever, if you do make it there alive, and still feel that you need a blade for self defence, go to a pasar malam or supermarket and buy one.

If you carry a blade onboard a plane, self defence is the last thing you need to worry about. The first thing to worry is whether they allow you to call defence counsel or not.
