SBF - Pro PAP site?

Leongsam said:
In Singapore, it's a simple case of "out with the old and in with the new". The area will be rejuvenated in no time. Singapore can do what the US can't achieve because it is quick, it is nimble at it has deep pockets thanks to the astute leadership of the PAP.

The simplest plan is turned it to casino land and give Macau a run for the money.

I am talking about JTC buildings vacated by our own Singapore SMEs being shut down.

What made you say that Singapore is not crumbling for youngsters? If we oldies die, you also die. This country is built by people in their silver years now, and you are enjoying the fruits of our labour. Let's see how capable you are to inherit it and bring it in better shape for the next gen. Don't be an ingrate. without the oldies you are nothing.

They're MNCs coming to Singapore, hiring PRC supervisors and PRC factory girls. Might as well go to PRC. Better, right? Better than you all everyday complaining so many PRCs in Singapore, right? This type of $2k supervisor job or $1k factory job no young Singaporean wants anyway. Singapore isn't crumbling for youngsters. Singapore is crumbling for old folks! Where got youngsters collecting cupboard and tin cans? Only old folks. Maybe soon I'll end up like that also. :(

By that def, are you saying Detroit is also not crumbling, but "old giving way to new"?

The PAP has lost its way, Hence nothing new coming along really. Just crumbly facades.

This forum becoming pro-PAP? Since when? I admit I have not been following closely in recent times.

Isn't SBF supposed to be the premier anti-PAP forum? WTF is going on? If it's not anti-PAP, then I might as well go elsewhere. Bros, any recommendation?

Thanks for the confirmation. No wonder seatless bicycle makes sense for you.

This site will be better if there are better pro-PAP supporters other than those who post unsubstantive contrarian views just for the sake of appearance. There are a few who will opposed even if the entire PAP cabinet were to say Singapore is going downhill.

Sam,the forum host, playing the devil's advocate by his extreme pro PAP stance lately,is childish at it's best.If his intend is to revive this forum by such antics than he is merely doing more damage by such a fake.Because that's what it essentially is-a fake.Like our LKY creation of fake oppositions by NMP in our pseudo parliament.

What we need is real stuff.

Like say,Halimah Yacob coming on to the now defunct Temaskek Review with her piece of shit where we real netizens rebuts.Or LHL on facebook where we can face him one to one.Sammyboy had not achieved that realism.Though it had more than a good chance to do that in the past.

People go for realism these days not fake Sam's tok kok.

Just wait and see.
Once SG is in some sort of trouble, FT will be the first to run road.
If not, why you think that FT couples 1 on pink IC and 1 on PR?

There are very few like you that can float a balloon like this with a straight face. The vets have seen your spots. The newbies and the really slow take it at face value. It however does not mean that they buy your koyok. They actually think they stepped into the blue oyster.

too many oysters can be nauseating...

The warning signs are out for the Singapore Government but who listens?

A small percentage of the population who have never done anything useful in their lives ranting and raving in the confines of cyberspace is hardly a warning sign.

No disrespect to the seniors. This is my view.

Firstly, the Original Folder. This has always been the Geylang of the forum. All sorts of characters are allowed to run riot here. This is the attraction that draws in the crowd. Pedestrian Alpha goes to Geylang and finds that he does not like Geylang anymore. Geylang used to synamous with Singaporeans but recently has become a haven for the PRCs and Banglas. Pedestrian Alpha is upset. The Geylang that he grew up, is no longer the same. The new crowd has changed the face of Geylang. But, there is always Joo Chiat to go to.

Joo Chiat used to be as rowdy as Geylang because of a certain individual who spent all his time asking money from his old parents. The place was a mess. In came super saver and his gang and with their brooms and mops, Joo Chiat was more or less clean up. However, the good old crowd was slow to return.

This forum does not lack intelligent posters. Erections2011 as many of us thought is the new TCSS king can actually carries his argument very well. However, he chose to kept his way of posting because it makes himself happy. I could also write an essay on each post I make instead of the usual words I say. But I chose not to. I come to this forum because I like the people here and I can post whatever I want. If I have to post what others want to read, I might as well don't visit this forum.

2. honest, unfortunately, not many daft sheep remember people like you still out there!

A big percentage of the population who had done everything useful in nation building when the nation was young and poor are now told to collect cardboard and tin cans. :oIo:

When the Delphi coffee shop was at its peak, about 1200 messages were posted daily.

This site now has 1500 posts per day on a regular basis... sometimes 2000.

Considering the fact that there are so many more alternative sites today compared to 2006 for people to voice their views, I'm very satisfied with the traffic and the participation levels.

Most of the threads here are re-posted from fuckwarezone and typically by a handful of regulars (no more than 20). Probably why moderator roles are being dished out to help build a sense of ownership to keep the posts going.

There is nothing to revive. This forum was at it's quietest mid 2010 and I accepted that the competition from facebook and numerous other sites had simply diluted things and that the traffic patterns were pretty much established.

Things picked up considerably during the GE and PE periods and 2012 has seen the best traffic ever.

A site which can attract a quarter of million visitors per week can't be doing too badly.
