A paedophile who left a child to die in horrific circumstances is to be beheaded and crucified in Saudi Arabia.
He will be tied to wooden beams to be displayed to the public after being decapitated by a executioner.
Reports from Saudi Arabia have said the man will be executed in Riyadh, where an appeals court has approved the death sentence which was originally handed down in June.
The 22-year-old man has been convicted of abducting a three-year-old boy who was then left in the scorching sun of the desert to die of thirst.
The man was only arrested when he tried to seize another boy from a school.
The seven-year-old, who escaped unharmed, helped to identify the culprit.
Amnesty International has condemned the sentence, saying the man has been reported as having a mental illness.
