Q1 2010 net loss ~ S$396.3 million.

At this rate, Gentings Sp is going to lose S$1.6 billion for this year!

I estimate the operating cost for RWS is around $3m~$5m/day. The operating cost do not included bank loan/interest.

theme park is basically a number game. volume. got to move certain amount of people in a certain amount of time. then the food, drinks, etc. get them to consume. and spend on the souvenirs - T-shirts, caps, big/small items.

i would have thought their main stream of revenue is via the rollers. i remember reading something like the ratio of 3% space, generating over 90% of the revenue. or was it for MBS?

But assume that S$396.3 million is taxable at 7%, it will be approx. S$27 mil in income earned for the POOR. Who is making money..for you!
