RWS cashier on theft charge

A RESORTS World Sentosa cashier was charged on Monday with stealing $10,000 from her employer.

Lim Ee Wah, 39, told a district judge that she wished to make restitution and the case was adjourned to May 10.

Lim, who intends to plead guilty, is accused of stealing the cash from the casino while working there on April 6.

If convicted, she faces a jail term of up to seven years and a fine.
