The All Blacks have a history of choking at critical moments. If France had converted any of their penalties, it would have been game over in favor of France. There was a discernible drop in energy from the Kiwis and u could almost sense it was about to fall apart in the middle of the second half. Well, they managed to hang on for dear life to lift only their second WC since its inception.

There was a penalty kick by Trinh Duc which I thought was good but it was not given. There was no replay on that one.

The 50m penalty was short and the other one was off the post.
Nevertheless, he had a great game, but he was only brought on after the 2nd choice scrum half Parra who was playing at fly half got injured. Monsieur Moustache Mindgame also brought on an uncapped scrum half with 5 minutes left in the world cup final and one point down.

The winning penalty was kicked by Stephen Donald, NZ's 4th choice fly half! :p

France gave a commendable good fight in the final but NZ deserved to win the tournament.
