Rubbish

This stall boleh though i prefer mee rebus over gado gado. So if meerebus i prefer the one Afandi at Haig road market. And it goes along with satay too (i.e. if satay stall open)

I like gado gado because of the peanut sauce. That is also the main reason why I like satay.

If no peanut sauce,
its basically tauhu goreng.

But the sauce must be
powderful.

The chilli/soya sauce is beside the bowl of lice on the left.

Bestest was I put many spoonfuls of fried shallots into the soup.

Specialising in thick porridge with broken grains, Zhen Zhen Porridge is extremely generous with their ingredients and seasonings for their porridge, preventing it from tasting plain or bland. For those who dislike the tastelessness of typical porridge dishes, give this stall a try! The queue should be testament to the quality of the food – they usually close early due to the large crowds, so make sure to go down early to snag a bowl!

Empress Place Teochew Beef Kway Teow, which recently moved from its previous location in East Coast, is a recent addition to Maxwell Food Centre! Nothing short of a legendary beef noodle stall, the beef broth is extremely rich, coupled with melt-in-your-mouth thin slices of beef and crunchy beansprouts. It is the ultimate comfort food, and the recipe has been perfected over the years to ensure every bowl is an absolute delight!
