It's a bit sad that more than 3 years after this forum started, only ONE truly useful thread has emerged.

The rest of the long threads are pretty much like this one.... a few gems but mostly

Haha...I thought you have a few more to introduce us (joke). Mind you not about members but interesting anecdotes from former SBF days. You seems to know a lot, having been a member of SBF a long time and an incredible memory recall. Don't tell me you record bits here and there in your files?

Thanks for all see me so much, paying attention to me whether as a supporter or detractor, I take it as compliment. I won't be here anymore for at least a month, maybe be longer till next year or forever never. I must apologize to two persons. Joetys who offers to host me in Thailand and Drifter who offers to host me in Japan. I wish I can accept both offers but life is not as us wish. Also, I mean no ill-will or mean it as retaliation to those I infracted or zapped points. Nothing personal. I just follow Leongsam's rulebook. If I don't make it back alive, you guys won't be hearing from me anymore anyway.

It is okay to let a few close friends know your forum nick, as long as they are of high integrity (which is rare these days). Most of the time it is better to just keep your virtual fantasies/wanking and real life separate.

You speak as if I know him personally. I'm just connecting the dots that two characters in this forum deliberately left behind for the supposedly dim and slow to connect.

I'm just playing according to the script - the role of a star-struck fan. The scriptwriter and director are some self-proclaimed veterans, not me.

Bro, these scenarios with different players have been done a few times.

This has been rather quiet period in this forum. The resignation of GMS from WP was the result of a war that occurred here. TOC characters began life here. Lucky Tan did his initial posts here and there were many more.

At one stage Sam lost control and had to migrate to a server he could control.


The character I miss most was QXP - truly a class act for all the wrong reasons.

No doubt we will never see another such thread in SBF. I personally thought this has more drama than any other I have been involved in.

I do recall some of them especially the thread about our SPF which you contributed much. Those days when I was just a lurker and not active. I remember QXP and I think someone named Robox. Those were the heydays I supposed, like a border town. I did recall LeeTahSar and some postings of his bike locking the entrance or exit to National Library. I was camping on the thread about the SPF senior officers to tell you the truth.

Bro...what I heard about Fukushima is rather bad. Trust you are taking good care as until today, TEPCO has been hiding critical information about how bad it is, even from the government. ENE is reporting up to date info.

It has spread as far as the West Coast of States and Canada. Now after 7 months only and more contamination is expected. Worse of all, they said the core has melted in 3 plants so I expect more bad news soon. This is as of yesterday latest.
