The sky is the limit as long as you leave the enclosed space..

There are many rules in an 'enclosed space' and you'll have life threatening situation if ya not careful.. so why not leave the dangerous job to others while you continue to enjoy the outdoor activities.. no rules.. no penalty..

and let's not forget there will be no life threatening situation at all, maybe u will only encounter bears that may attack you...and plentiful of outdoor activities.....no rules and no penalty...the place is all yours Axe...

Haha.. the air is definitely fresher compare to enclosed space.. of course the greenland may likely to come with Koala bears for us to hug-hug and kiss kiss.. Freedom land is always better than leasehold enclosed area.. do you agee ?

Just heard a bird whispering in the air that the Sg Consul in Vancouver is not open for the whole month or shut down. From now on have to go all the way to Ottawa to do renouncing. Not sure if it is because Mr Ho Lose to much moolah. Have to cut cost.

you can process your renunciation without the need to show up at the consulate or embassy. all you need is a public notary to witness and sign off on your oath of renunciation. and submit the relevant documents to ica directly.

you can write to "whom it may concern" under "renunciation" with your ic/passport no. at the following address:

Immigration & Checkpoints Authority
ICA Building
10 Kallang Road
Singapore 208718

or call them at 6391 6100 and ask to be directed to a person who can help you with renunciation.

ask for the forms to be sent to you, either by mail or email. they don't entertain online renunciation at their website. when they process your request, they will assign an ica officer to correspond with you. it will take a couple of weeks at least. after the ica officer has contacted you via email, you can deal with the ica from there. you still need to fill out the forms and have a copy signed in front of a public notary. he/she needs to rubber stamp the set of forms at the final page (section provided for oath), sign and certify a true copy of your citizenship cert or naturalization papers for attachment with the forms. mail your papers back to ica, attention to the officer assigned to you.

you don't need to deal with the embassy or consulate.
