Regarding Ngee Ann Poly

come to australia to study.. 3 years for a degree.. far better than those crappy part-time diploma.

If your objective is to do a degree in Aust.. got 2 options

1) Get a diploma in sg in a related degree that you want to study in. When you go over to do your degree, apply for exemptions so you can do less subjects for the completion of it.
*Cheaper this way*

2) Go do a foundation year in Aust, then straight into the degree (E.g. http://www.monashcollege.edu.au/courses/foundation-year/entry-requirements.html)
Get out of sinkieland faster this way, but more expensive

This is my preferred way but I'm not shy to admit that I cannot afford it at this moment :(

Maybe look to get a study loan if possible. otherwise hard to do so..

I know! Ask Boss Sam to sponsor you! he's making loads of money.. pay him back with interest next time :P

NYP is Nanyang Poly, Ngee Ann is NP. btw, I believe the course many FTs registered is part time for diploma in Technology, not Electrical Engrg.

I think I came across some pte schools offering dip to deg program where you study think 2 yrs (or 3) here for dip, then final year in OZ Uni for deg depending on which one they tie up with. You may not learn much from it but I believe it should satisfy your goal, only problem is the course may not be what you want. Do some search.

No point regretting over spilled milk. This diploma I'm talking about is only 2.5 years.

I think you do right. I know someone who got his diploma this way, then take up a correspondence course with some local institutions like SIM for their degree. Although not taken as par with degrees obtained from NUS, NTU or SMU, after a couple of years of working experience, no employer will be concerned with that except the civil service.

Hi brother, I don't intend to stay in Singapore for so long. I will die die find a way to get out before 35 years old. This place is like a pressure cooker.
