That's why the story of Jesus is also called The Greatest Story ever told. Every year, especially around Christmas ans Easter, the story is repeated. Its been done so many times, that people believe it actually happened as described. That he was born from a virgin woman, and that he rose from the dead. Isn't it very amazing that as far as I now, nobody denied that Buddha or Mohammed or some other so-called founders of other religious systems existed but when it comes to Christianity, there are people who will try to prove that Jesus did not exist?

Buddha and Mohammed have been recorded by historians, but not Jesus. The only words/description of his being is through the bible. Which academicians do not regard as a bona fide historical record, but a religious doctrine. Whilst there are many people out to prove that Jesus did not exist, it was more likely they came to this conclusion after looking for historical data of his existence and events of his life, and could not find any. In any case, people are still looking.

I find it extremely sad that when people tried but failed to disprove the existence of Jesus, they will try to deny his divinity in various ways, e.g the Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, Muslims and many others.

That is the nature of "intellects" in our species. Until they attain the authoritical status, themselves, they will try to denigrate everyone else as a hoax. Once there, anyone who says anything that threatens their position will be labelled a blasphemous heretic, and means will be enacted to put an end to their works. Jesus faced the same fate when word went around that he was Son of God, and King of Kings. And when the church in Rome became heaven's representative on Earth, they dealt the same way to anyone who voiced different views to their beliefs. I suppose this is natural and inherent in any vertical hierachial system/establishment.

Jesus Christ, is definitely history's most controversial person. But I think his appeal will eventually win over the people's of this planet.

These are very enlightening, and adds to affirm the existence of Christ. For me, I wish to believe that the Spirit of Christ lives - in us. When we look around and see humans inspired and influenced by Jesus, it brings us hope that Jesus lives. Although there are evil people who misuse and abuse this name to gain fortune and credit for themselves, I see that the good outweighs the bad across our species. And his spirit will prevail.

It is more logical to accept the historicity of Jesus Christ than to always seek scientific proof to substantial a view point. Prophecies and miracles cannot be completely proven by science. But the facts are there. History has confirmed the prophecies. What more do you want?

Psalm 137:9 would make you less sad and feeling more blessed. Scientists and historians have already proven both the bible and Jesus were men created fairy tales. But failed to convince devoted believers. Similarly, piles of court documents holding evidences have failed to convince Pastor Kong Hee's followers of his proven crime in siphoning church fund to promote porno CDs of his half-naked wife.
