Why do you come to singapore to eat this kind of seafood? Isn't it much cheaper in Thailand?

Dry wanton noodle - add some fish sauce and chili powder you will get the fantastic traditional fragrant of Thai noodle. Char siew pork is freshly roasted with the generous lard topping you simply cannot stop eating till it's finished.

Wet noodle - taste the sweetness of the stock in the soup with Thai herbs make you wake up to the taste. Very good.

Ordered from next door - chow tar (burnt) beehoon - it's so so good

Heads up: they're going to build a condo on the piece of empty field next to Tan Quee Lan Street.

I foresee a lot of the open-air parking space nearby to vanish.

Everywhere can find Katong laksa. Which one is the real one?
Janggut is the original and first.
But many says he’s not the best
There are others also can lay claim.
Can eat anyone except that faker Nancy 328.
I dunno what’s the hype of Katong laksa though.
Give me Sungei Road anytime

Danggut Katong laksa can be found in Queensway Shopping Centre. Went there this afternoon to get a few pairs of sports shoes and had the laksa there

Asked my maid why you give me this low class bag to travel, she answered me "sir sir you go market buy tau-gua and tau-pok, can put inside this bag lah"

I rolled eyes and continued to the lift, she not wrong after all. Knn.

If you're not driving, there's a free shuttle bus between Great World City and Queenstown MRT (Exit B). It's convenient if you go to Zion Riverside Food Centre and want to hop over to the other hawker centres in the Queenstown area.

You can check the bus timings, I think it's 11am to 7pm everyday, one bus every hour. And increased frequency of buses on weekends.

I didn't know that got free bus, who organised this?

Anyway after the char kway teow I decided to take a walk back via the Alexandra Park Connector. Was a nice walk slightly more than an hour or 4.5km only. Its my first time doing this and also my first time walking through the new Dawson Estate. Completely unrecognisable, I grow up there at the 16 storey in front of the Queenstown MRT station beside Queenstown ROV and I study around there.

Very interesting.

Heard the Zion Road CKT hawker is staunch xtians so his regular customers are mostly xtians and his church mates. Dunno how true

Great World City mall has free shuttle buses every day, going to Queenstown, Chinatown and Newton separately.

The Newton bus service ends a bit later than the other two, at around 10pm.
