Hi guys (or ladies), did you hear any news on the harbourfront-puteri harbour link? This, to me is the next real milestone: as third gateway to Johor, Malaysia.
It is only in developer(UEM)'s interest to push this but the market is too quiet.
Neither in Singapore nor Johor Sultan's interest.
Sad.

Once few projects had been completed, the traffic would be there. I know some one mentioned that they are interested to start a water taxi service between PH and Danga Bay or even to Desaru. Reminds me of Darling Harbour to Ferry Terminal in Sydney.

Agree! As a native JB resident, when they conceptualized EDL and Coastal Highway, oh how i laughed! Now they are arguably the most impact project in JB since the Inner Ring Road.

to me, it is simply shocking that they build CIQ and created a ferry service from PH to Karimun and PH to Batam.
But to Harbourfront? it's okay. this can wait....

I took DIBS with Public Bank. There was no notice as to when my payment would start. However, I got a notice this month that my interest payment was overdue.

Have they started billing interest to DIBS purchasers?

Yes, thats how it is supposed to be.

Anyway, I finally managed to get hold of my loan officer. Looks like they billed by mistake.

I guess you are not a property player in Singapore. The property prices would have been unstoppable due to the inflow of rich PRC who are flooding Singapore with their millions.

The locals like me love to buy properties.

However, the various cooling measures stopped the appreciation of the property prices, esp the TDSR. Any businessman earning $10,000 a month can only be counted as $8000. And out of the $8000, the expenses or loan repayments cannot be over 60% which is $4800.

With just $4800 a month max to use for loans, how many properties or loans can anyone take?

What progress billing you got already?
Myself got 2(d) yesterday liao, completed plumbing and cabling.

The just billed Stage 2d - roofing, electrical wiring ....

I would think at least 8 - 10 more months to go.
