Yes I do have a min sum but it also depends on the duration, wifi, etc

I sent an email to UEM to enquire on the ferry link btw PH & Harbourfront. Surprised to receive a reply the next day stating that UEM is still sourcing for a suitable Operator to ply the route. From this reply can we take it that approval had been granted on both sides' authorities? I believe somewhere in the past the ferry link did take place but was suspended shortly due to no demand?

The Tuas West MRT station is not near nor far from the SG CIQ, on a hot day it'll be a tough walk for the retirees.
However, for those who drives, this is not an issue.
Will there be a shuttle service to and from the CIQ and who will be operating this service?
And the MY CIQ is located about 2km after the 2nd Link, no way to walk.
And will there be a shuttle service provided?
Unless the yellow and blue Causeway Link buses starts from this MRT station instead of Jurong East or perhaps stops at this station, then commuters can catch this bus to Bukit Indah as the current service.
Otherwise, this MRT extension provides little extra benefits to current bus commuters.

but raffles marina is a pte club so include a ferry terminal in tuas wld be nice right?

What a wild idea!
In most people's mind, those who can afford to stay in the Puteri Harbour should be able to afford to drive to and from PH.
There may be some not too rich ones but then the numbers should be very small and negligible.
Then who you think will even think of running a ferry service just to serve a few poor people, a business that will fail for sure?

However, a better idea is to buy a boat, then no need to wait for ferry

Lets face it, if someone asked you to start this ferry business, (from PH to CBD) would you? Try and calculate potential costs and potential revenues; license to operate from Malaysia side, license from Sinagapore side. Docking/berthing fees, Vessel insurance, insurance for passengers, flucuating fuel costs, ferry personnel, safety equipment/recurring inspection, respective taxes. losses from non operational times, due to bad weather/mechanical failure, etc, . Liability from season pass holders, requirements from authorities, blah, blah, blah....

I heard from a ex maritime person, that it makes no sense to do it since the distance was greater than to Batam, and you would have to pass-by one of the busiest ports in the world next time (in Tuas) avoiding all the traffic.

I'm not saying its not possible, but it'll take a long time to build the critical mass before it becomes viable. Also no weekender will go from tampines to CBD/Harbourfront to visit PH to eat in a mall, and see Hello Kitty. A three hour return trip on bumpy seas aint gonna be fun for the parents and kids. (Not forgetting the risks by sea are arguably more than by road). So where's the weekend crowd coming from.

PH like you say is more upmarket and exclusive, by the same token you are not going to attract the tourist crowd that goes to Batam for seafood/whores galore, Go- karting, bungy jumping etc..

BTW. Not looking for a fight. Just keeping it real.

u ever consider the tourists from Harborfront going to PH or even staying there for the cheaper accomodation n going to the casinos from there ? The condos there can offer cheap n beautiful airbnb lodgings. If there are more theme parks coming up in JB eq from Sunway, then they will be another added attraction.

Heard Encorp Marina will be ready by Oct.

i think they are trying not to pay LAD more than they should.
from scm most current ph video dtd 29aug17 it seems almost complete externally.
i guess the internal fixtures are on going.
for me i hope when they hand me the keys, it includes the id too.

I called ENCARE and Tower 1 shld TOP Oct 17 and Tower 2 is Dec 17/Jan 18. For those with ID package, the unit will hand over fully done up.

As for LAD, I asked if its 10% based on purchase price (before or after disount), I was told to refer to clause 25. I am not sure still, anyone knows ?

not sure if you called that an id package but i remember when signing spa time, there was a choice if i wanted study rm or bedroom.
