I am posting, because we still have kids, nephews and nieces.

5. Corruption & Conflicts of Interests
Iswaran's issues are minor but Ridout is an outright conflict-of-interests and failure of governance.

Ridout was rented cheaply but in the same period, the tenant managed to sell his property for 800% profit after holding for 20 years?

There's isn't really any property in Singapore that rocketed 800% in 20 years, given no change in plot ratio or redevelopment. Most went up by just 200-400% in the same period. Then concurrently, SLA is renting him another GCB for low low price + touch up because "there isn't much demand"? contradicting.

Corruption in Singapore
Only the police don't know.

3. Retrenchment
Investors are no longer keen to hire in Singapore due to soaring SGD and overheads.
Our job market is worsening. Are we hiding our jobless data? Retrenchment data is not Unemployment or Underemployment data.

When you are hired under employment contract and your contract is not renewed, you are "not retrenched".

Retrenchment refers to the termination of permanent employees due to redundancy and early termination of term contract employees due to redundancy. https://stats.mom.gov.sg/Pages/Retrenchment-Summary-Table.aspx

The hiring recession in private sector will worsen after GE.

Yesterday I visited an old friend's condo for house warming, his DBSS at Bishan was sold to PRC for more than $1.2 million.

Now, his new condo has 4 units sharing the common lift, LOL, 2 of them are from China. One has not moved in.

No babies, no homes, no hope… ...
Young Singaporeans give up on homeownership and family life

Oppies are like England football supporters
Every time elections comes round always full of hope telling themselves it’s this time but always kena play out and disappointed

We have surpassed Hk in density but still trail behind Monaco and Macau by a lot and Macau isn’t even a country. So very soon we can be lampar 1

actually HK is mostly high-mountains. If we consider sea-level ground, they are more congested than Singapore.

but like Macau, HK is not a country.

my most respected PAP politician is Ng Eng Hen.

He is not a joker or bully like vivian or shan. A serious man who just do his job, never aim for PM or DPM post too, yet much more qualified than many other SAF-politicians or past PM-aspirants.

Now, he is leaving, he is only 66. It says a lot about the situation now.

He doesn't live in a rented b/w GCB too!
