Punggol GRC battle to save the sinking ship

Gan Kim Yong is actually 3G office holder, not 4G. It's about time to send him to early retirement.

Punggol Singaporeans, 靠你们了!
I ask my punggol colleague see him

greet gan 你拿。before he can reply then shout loud loud 靠北ah.....

Pungol and Sengkang are twin GRCs. They will join Sengkang to bond brotherhood and vote for their beloved Worker Party.
From people I know who staying in the electoral division of Punggol, a lot are offshoots from Hougang and Aljunied GRC. The is a sizable oppie family base that have expanded into Punggol. Of course Punggol also have lots of PAP minted new citizens. So it's going to be close fight....

Focus more on the Punggol GRC. Younger residents there.
if only you knew how many new shitizens are staying in this slum hole. This one will always be Pap stronghole, that's why they need to put a jiak liao bee to anchor it. It's a fucking foreign enclave

becos they can only buy resale. but Punggol is no longer a new estate. Many of the flats there are at least 10 years old, so new shitizens have been moving there in the last 5 years, especially after the pandemic. You will get a snap shot when you hang out at places like the library, MRT station, taxi stands, and of course the malls and eating places. These new Cbs won't travel too far from their homes with their little fucks in tow

Yeah! Saw alot tiongs and cecas there.

Woodleigh also young town, merged with Potong Pasir. Don't under-estimate opposition party may wrestle back the town.
Seems Demographics play a big part as support for WP. Pritam knows Marine Parade GRC still have a lot of Gen X, Baby Boomers and LKY Generation. Hence he move the team to Ponggol instead, learning from GE2020.

"Tough decision" in Punggol?

WP's Punggol GRC candidates Harpreet Singh and Alia Mattar spent all morning greeting residents at Punggol Bus Interchange, and are now catching the early lunch crowd at Punggol Oasis Terraces.

They’ve taken selfies, shook hands, exchanged fist bumps and received some praise for their rally speeches last night.

Several residents say they’re still undecided on their vote.

“It’s going to be a tough decision ahead,” Zen Sim, 46, told CNA.

He said the PAP has also fielded a strong team, naming Senior Minister of State Sun Xue Ling in particular.

“We would like to see someone who listens and shares our views … the younger generation would like to see change.”

The PAP Punggol slate also saw a last-minute surprise addition on Nomination Day in the form of Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong.
