No wonder his son no need to work, studied until 30+ and joined WP for his first job in life.

Pritam's father, 69-year-old Amarjit Singh, is a consultant in litigation and dispute resolution practice, specialising in criminal law.

Besides work, Amarjit also spends his weekends counseling inmates at Changi prison these days.

He also previously served as a defence counsel, district judge and deputy public prosecutor, and was also a Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) officer between 1970 and 1986.

As if all that wasn't enough, while serving the nation, Amarjit took up night classes and sat for A-Level examinations as a private candidate, before doing well enough to go on to read law at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

May be between 2004 to 2011, he spent 3 to 4 years reading law at SMU, then articled for one year.
He was with the SAF for about 6 years.

may be he can ask his long lost cousin armpit singh to stink up the whole court.

I can vaguely remember PS as one of those hanging around with the Soci Honours kids at the table outside the Soci Honours Room around 1999/2000. Same period, same faculty but different majors with YSL, Brandon Teo, Hermann Adullah and Peh Shing Huei. One can include Eugene Tan also as he was visiting some Political Science Seminars when he was doing his PhD then. Eugene, Peh and Hermann were impressive scholars and gentlemen. The rest were not memorable. Never had any good impression of Brandon Teo.
