<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->I REFER to last Tuesday's letter by Ms Isabelle Goh, 'Lost items: Be more proactive, Comfort' and Thursday's reply by ComfortDelGro, 'ComfortDelGro clarifies efforts in looking for lost wallet'.
I boarded Premier taxi SHD 1099 T a few months ago. After alighting at my destination, I discovered I had lost my mobile phone. That was barely two minutes ago and I called Premier immediately.
I had the taxi number, time of travel, pick-up and drop-off points, as well as the fare amount information that was needed. I had received a receipt when I alighted. However the customer service officer was unable to help me. Premier was not able to reach its taxi driver. I was stunned.
I can understand the frustration Ms Goh went through. Even with my immediate response after I discovered the loss of my phone, Premier was not able to help. I wonder why Premier bothers with a lost and found department.
