I have a problem with these assholes Blackbox calling a vote for the PAP a Govt vote. The government of a country is many things. From wiki:

A government is the system by which a state or community is governed

In the case of its broad associative definition, government normally consists of legislators, administrators, and arbitrators. Government is the means by which state policy is enforced, as well as the mechanism for determining the policy of the state. A form of government, or form of state governance, refers to the set of political systems and institutions that make up the organisation of a specific government.

Government of any kind currently affects every human activity in many important ways.

When we go to vote in singapore, we do not vote for the government. We vote for a political party. whether the PAP or WP or any other political party wins, we will still end up with the same govt the next day. The govt. of singapore is a unicameral Parliamentary representative system. that is what we have regardless of which ever party is in power. If the people decide to change to communism, then our govt will be known as a communist government.

So, these morons at Blackbox can't even differentiate the difference and want to run a poll?

I'm confident that the PAP will have a higher winning margin for the forthcoming GE. They have indeed improved the overall situation, and this is still an ongoing process, after suffering the brickbats and setbacks from the last GE. Until the opposition parties can get their acts right, the PAP will still be the best and dominant party to be reckon with.

This survey result is in line with our own grassroots survey. We are expecting Victor Lye and team to win back Aljunied GRC for us. We are also expecting SDP, NSP and RP to remain as homeless vagrants for the rest of their political lifespans.

The PAP wants sinkee to think that voting opposition will make no difference.

It is for the Opposition to attack the PAP hard. Unleash the attack ads. Show sinkees how the PAP has ruined their lives. Pin every crap on the PAP. Show the arrogance of the PAP politicians. Put out the photo of the female ministar who can't even carry her own handbag. Show photos of Pinoys, Ah Tiongs and Ah Nehs squeezing out sinkees on the bus, mrt and public spaces. The PAP has done alot to screw us ...the opposition just need to write a narrative for sinkees. Simple message will get through.
