That means less than 9000 residents voted for Chiam ST, wha he was very lucky and smart to contest there:D

Fact is PAP lost in Potong Pasir.

Why is the PAP so unlucky? Can't even beat an old man, after all it's only got 9000 has residents :D

What happened to your "virtual" holiday? Still haven't fly off yet? :D

It is illegal to track ballot tickets but it is not illegal to track ballot boxes...

PAP tactic is simple... if 80% of a box voted for opposition, merge the block of flats into PAP wards to average out the numbers. Cut and slice PP until the average voters are pro-PAP.

Technically, Potong Pasir doesn't qualify as an SMC anymore. It's perfectly reasonable for Election Department to draw it into an GRC, most logically Bishan-Toa Payoh since Potong Pasir still holds Lorong 8 adjacent to Lorong 7. That's why Chiam See Tong announced that he's going to contest B-TP GRC.

Maybe you are right. I think they marked them based on the precincts, even blocks, otherwise, how come they can tell who (which precincts) got no upgrading etc. Maybe even where they placed them in the counting centre also tells a story.

My friend in Potong Pasir told me the residents there very hardcore one.
Put any MIW, including MM, opp. still win. Don't know true or not?

Some one should protect Chiam See tong . I think someone is poisoning him !

Are they really hardcore opposition? Could it be that Chiam is doing a good job whereas the PAP has done a lousy job

Look what's happening under the PAP: increases in conservancy fees, increases in rent(e,g, Sheng Shiong affair),...

In a country where the oppositions party are non-existent, you have to give credit to Chiam for winning 6th consecutive elections.

I think Chee Soon Juan would be better in Parliament to attack PAP but he can't get himself elected unlike Chiam and Low.

Agree. Potong Pasir residents are hardcore anti pap so no fight.

I have a sure-win strategy for PAP.

HDB should raise the valuation price of Potong Pasir resale flats by another 20% and make them even more expensive than Queenstown and Bishan. The 9,000 hardcore fans of Chiam will be tempted to sell their flats. Next, the PRs will come in and buy up the flats previously owned by the 9000 hardcore fans of Chiam.

Wow...I'm sure PAP will win 90% of the votes in Potong Pasir.
