What the ....? These Pinoys like tourists taking a photo for the holiday scrapbook!

Chey! Choy! Dai Gart Lei Si ! Tui NI Gor Chi Sin Lo ! Budoh ! Baka!

He he he.. Mr Mee, the tagalog word for "fuck" is "matalek". You can use that on your pinoy colleague and verify.

quite obvious u've never been thru NS. the hijacker was armed with M16 (5.56mm caliber, optimal range 300m, maximum effective range ±400m). u use short arms to charge the bus, the hijacker will die laughing.

do not be disillusioned by the NDP propaganda, commandos r not trained for everything. they're just skirmish assigned with slightly more expensive modes of insertion. such shit jobs r exclusive for either SOF or STAR.

Bro, I from School of Small Arms. Not sure whether this unit is moribund or not..

Only rifle that would be useful in this hostage situation, should be a Sniper rifle with a few veteran snipers covering all angles.

The ex-cop gunman probably knew how his former colleagues would react so he dare to expose himself.

Not too crazy to assume that he had targeted foreigners tourists to gain media attention.

The lone gunman had expose the weaknesses and the incompetencies of the Pinoy security forces. The damage done is great, greater if he would have pointed the guns at his own countrymen who caused his misery.

The Philippines is a banana country, the only Pinoy product I buy regularly is their Del Monte bananas.

Pinoy has the worst armed forces in SEA, so outcome is not totally unexpected. If the bus hijack incident were to happen in Sinkapore, quite sure our SAF Commandos will carry out the operation differently and with success. I am a layman but saw on tv that the men were using rifles for the rescue operation. Rifle obviously is not suitable because it hinders the movement of the soldiers...

Thank you, I do not need to learn the same vulgar word in a farang language.

"Tui" "Dui" or "Diao" is BAD enough.

A relative (C) grieves as the bodies of two of the eight Hong Kong tourists killed in a deadly hostage crisis in the Philippines are brought to the Philippine National Police crime laboratory for an autopsy in Manila on August 24, 2010.

This photo taken on August 24, 2010 shows a selection of front pages of Hong Kong newspapers - with many headlines and font of the usually colourful papers all printed in a somber black to mourn the victims - a day after eight Hong Kong tourists were killed by a gunman in a dramatic bus hijacking in Manila. The Philippines faced fury in Hong Kong on August 24 as the territory plunged into mourning for the eight tourists mown down in Manila, with flags at half-mast and share traders holding a minute's silence.

Imagine YOG spend that much . Philippines created a crisis to get tourist and reporters over .
nearly $400M down the drain n half the world is not even informed. in contrast, 1 night of madness, few lives taken, the world is looking at it under the microscope. there was certainly more following than the events taking place in our pathetic venues.

Artistes Are Upset At Hostage Crisis in Philippine
_25MA003_.jpg

At the end of the11-hour hostage standoff in Philippine yesterday, 8 deaths of Hong Kongers are confirmed. Artistes all expressed their condolence and mourned the dead. Mourning ceremony is arranged in many public events today and attended artistes all wear plain and black clothing to express their condolence.

Due to the affect of the yesterday's hostage crisis, Richie Ren canceled his plan to hold his first concert in Philippine in November. He expressed his company believes it's not suitable for him to go at this moment. Concerning the safety of their idol, many of Richie's fans also advised Richie shouldn't go to Philippine.

Besides paying their respect to the dead, many artistes are angered at the actions taken by the Filipino police and government. They criticized the police didn't properly handled this dangerous situation and took too long to rescue the hostages. Many of them expressed they would not go to Philippine at least for now:

Steven Ma: I hate that one person's fault led to the death of others!...don't understand how to handle the cris? Then don't mess with it! How come you have to take others' innocent lives to prove your incompetence?

Ella Koon: Really mad and upset. Although I'm not a police, but I saw many opportunities for them to take down the gunman. But they chose to break in using force...Now I don't know whether I would go to Philippine again, because that place is really disturbing.

Raymond Wong: The country, the government, and the police don't even have the basic knowledge of how to protect citizens.

Cally Kwong: Level of the rescue strategy is very low, people aren't smart enough...He was standing at the door when he released the hostage. Police could've shoot him. I really don't understand. You see plots like this in movies all the time.

Roger Kwok and Cindy Ou: Watched interview with the Filipino president...he was smiling frivolously!

Michael Tse: After this incident, I've lost confidence at their police and security

Wah even Hongkong celebrities get to steal the limelight with the
deaths of their fellow men . They get the best bang for buck !

WTF is the world coming to ?

WTF are we spending so much money .

school of small arms?? how small is small?? if i'm not mistaken u should also be familiar with the specs & caliber of some manual, semi-auto, auto weapons. i wonder what were u taught, or what have u learnt?

lemme bring u back to basics, where force on force is concerned, u will engage the aggressor with equal or superior firepower. so, in your opinion, if they shouldn't use rifle as it is cumbersome, what do u suggest? glock?

The nursing students :(

Those nursing students smiling and posing for photos with the bus in the background are disgusting.

It makes me even more sick to think that most of the nurses in our public hospitals come from the same ilk and probably many in the photos will be "serving" (or screwing up your medication/treatment in the near future)..

With so many Pinoys in this red dot,the future is grim.

Come to think of it, what the hell did he achieve in the end? He didn't clear his name or get any ransom. Like YOG, it was poorly planned and executed.

The Philippines is a banana country, the only Pinoy product I buy regularly is their Del Monte bananas.

What do you expect from a nation of maids and cover band members?

I agree. Hope SG hospitals don't end up hiring pinoy nurses :(
