So lets celebrate with them.

when the old man dies, we can mark his birthday with a 6 months long holiday, mark his passing with another 6 months, run them in tandem.

Re: Philippine Independence Day Celebration To Be Held on 8 June 2014 at Ngee Ann Cit

President Tony Tan can invite the Pinoys to hold it at the Istana.

These pinoys are getting audacious. But Party-Against-People are going to import more of them, even to replace the construction workers.

Pinoys are known to be aggressive once they are aware that you can be taken advantage off. They are of the same race as the Malays.

Our goondus in government has no understanding of the mindset of other nations.

PAP is already taking advantage of sinkies, they won't mind to invite bastards willing to be on the same side as them to suck on sinkies too.

Until riots between sinkees and foreigners break out, the PAP can't be bothered. Where are the Ah Bengs? A few hundred of them need to gatecrash the Pinoy party.

Don't rely on the ah bengs lah. That's why sinkies are screwed as they are ball-less. Only hope to be saved by others. Might as well wish sinkiepore quickly becomes a province of china to chase out the nehs and pinoys.

Support the PAP or your wives and sisters will be working as maids in the Philippines. The Philippines is the most powerful country in South East Asia. By the way, whatever happened to the teacher from Tampines Junior Colledge with the cheebye mouth heart center nurse wife?

1. Jeremy did not mention that the Singapore National Day celebration was held in Bangkok at a hotel's ballroom. This is in accordance to normal diplomatic protocol in such events should either be held indoors or within embassy compound.

You do not celebrate Singapore's National Day in the streets of New York's Fifth Avenue or London's Canary Wharf.

As usual the Temasek review is light on facts and heavy on distortions.

Singapore Day draws criticism in Australia

The organisers of a Singapore Day carnival in Australia have drawn flak for allegedly turning away non-Singaporeans.

Some Australians complained about being barred from the event, according to a report in the Australian newspaper The Telegraph on Tuesday.

The event at the Royal Botanic Gardens, held on October 12 in Sydney for the first time, was organised by the Overseas Singaporean Unit under the Prime Minister’s Office with the aim of keeping Singaporeans living abroad connected to their home country.

According to the event's website, Singapore Day is exclusively for Singaporeans and their families. To gain entry, people must also pre-register and bring along their electronic ticket.

But an Australian man called into a radio station 2GB to complain that he and his father had been turned away because “they were not Singaporean”, raising questions of discrimination.

Royal Botanic Gardens acting executive director Brett Summerell was quoted by the Telegraph as saying that there was some “community concern” over the situation.

“My understanding was it was a private event and they paid a fee to hire out the area,” he said.

“We had initial concerns over people not being let in but they had told us people would only be turned away if it reached full capacity or they didn’t pre-register online.”

In its sixth edition since 2007, this year’s Singapore Day attracted more than 6,000 Singaporeans and featured local fare such as satay and chicken rice, and music and displays.

It was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean and Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Grace Fu.

A SINGAPOREAN-only event embroiled in controversy after allegedly refusing to allow entry to Caucasians was funded by the Singapore government.
The event was organised by the Singapore government's Overseas Singaporean Unit at the Botanic Gardens on Saturday to celebrate Singapore Day - enabling Singaporeans to catch up on the politics, music and food of their home nation.

But it became embroiled in controversy after a Sydneysider called James rang 2GB to report he had twice been turned away from the event because he was white."We were just stunned and angry that this had happened to us in a public space in the middle of Sydney," James said.SINGAPORE DAY 2013

"If it was a private event it should have been held in a hotel and not in a public park funded with taxpayers' money."James said he learned about Singapore Day online and wanted to attend with his father because he has Singaporean friends and enjoys Singaporean food.Singapore Day is an annual ticketed event which participants are required to register online in advance to attend the celebrations - which include live performances and free food stalls. It is held for Singaporeans based abroad and is held each year in a different country. This year's celebration in Sydney was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean. The "Frequently Asked Questions" section of the Singapore Day website states the event is an "exclusive event for Singaporeans and their families" only. But a spokesman for the Singaporean government said the event had been attended by "all races"."The Singaporeans invited to the event can

also bring a guest who is non-Singaporean," he said.

Sinkapore is already a province of China as well as a state of India. The only group that can save us is the Ah Bengs.

believe me thiese pinoy shits would if unchecked next ask teh garmen to make it a national holiday here. they are stupid, uncouth, real arseholes, cowards and should be sent back. now orchard road and next 1 or 2 years time they would have demand to have it at the istana, demand singapore be turned into a catholic country, demand holidays, demand we learn their pinoy language and maybe even demand we kow tow to them. these pinoy shits are amongst the most racist people in Asia and in the 1950s they think because of their spanish colonial bastrad blood , by default they are white by race. In the 1950s and 60s they consider themselves as the white man of asia and look down on chinese people. that time no filipino maids but years of stupidity and brain washing by Marcos have made them backwards but still arrogant. most of them here are rejects . even almost all their doctors and Phd end up as nurses and orderlies in USA(as they all fail the US exams and cannot practice there). Fark these arseholes. see what happen when they shoot the HK tourists and Taiwan fisherman and they laugh as if a joke on both instances. same as their stupid president who dare to smirk/smile.
