It is not the news thread that he started, though sometimes repeated and consist a mix of local and foreign news, which we should appreciate.
The thing that annoyed me is that he bombard other threads with irrevelant pictures or stuff that he fancy. Example, if a particualr thread mentioned chick, he will post a picture of chicken regardless of it's context. Mostly irrelevant stuff.
I don't know why Sam minus his points, though.

Sam's way of handing the rep points is the same as LKY's stop at 2 policy.
When the forum just started, he allowed the points system to ran amok. I was in Sydney then, busy with setting up my company's new branch and fucking my company's accountant. Therefore, I did not played the point games then. I still remembered that everyone had lots of power and it was really possible to hit 1k points if you put in some efforts. Then Sam realised there is a problem. Too much points being spread around. Then he implemented LKY's stop at 2 policy by tweeting the reputation system. It worked fine initially, just like LKY's policy. But as time goes by, there is a serious imbalance in population, the ethnic quota. It was the same like in this forum. There was a serious imbalance in the forum. It will never be possible for a newcomer to ever reach 1k points. To even reach 300 is hard enough.
For repeatedly posting International news in this Courtyard Cafe folder despite warnings when there is an International news folder.
Of course, since it's one of Sam's few ruling. Thanks for reminding me.
I think a few like under five is ok as i do that sometimes but his was like 10-20 threads average a day until the host is tired of moving them.
