After that they need to prepare groundworks (that whole area marine clay) and then build. And with the artistic roof, a lot of equipment is custom made.
HDB flats take about 3 years and those are lego cookie cutter type prefabs.
I think for sportshub it will take at least 4 to 5 years to build taking into account demolish works.
