Indeed. Succinct and straight to the point. Reveals how clueless the PAP is. On one hand, the PAP wants town council to be self-governing and accountable to the people, as two ministers have championed, yet, the town council operations are governed and regulated by many ministries and departments. These two ministers had better get their act together ...are they speaking for the government if they don't even know how the government regulates the town councils.

This episode shows the money-orientation of the PAP ministers ...it is all about money. Residents are in arrears and the WPTC is not hounding them like how the PAP town councils do. PAP ministers buay song because it makes the PAP TCs look like Shylocks.
Yes, it takes money to provide services to the people. If the WP TC can do it without beating up those who are already suffering, why can't the PAP TC do so. How much has PAP TC spent sending legal letters to residents who are in arrears? Those money would have been better spent to help those in arrears.

The only way for PAP to win back Aljunied is to send Lawrence Wong and Desmond Lee there to helm the PAP team.. 2 young Ministers full of fire in their bellies..

Just look at how they're attacking the WP relentlessly over the AHTC issue.. A Desmond, Lawrence double combo act is capable of swaying Aljunied residents to vote for the PAP in the next GE.. Our much loved Prime Minister don't have to send useless old cocks like Lim Swee Say or Lim Boon Heng to Aljunied.. Send in the young cocks like Desmond, Lawrence.. I'm sure both of them are eager to prove their worth to the Prime Minister..

Young Cocks like them should be excited at the prospect of contesting an election battle with a proven political opponents like Low Thia Khiang, and Sylvia Lim.. This is a one in a lifetime experience for Desmond and Lawrence.. No more hiding behind the backsides of heavyweight Ministers like Tharman and Lim Hng Kiang..
