CPF is our hard earned savings. It has been agreed that the money can be withdrawn when workers reached 55yo. Such was the promised and contractual understanding between peasants and the CPF board in earlier years when we made our first contributions from our first hard-earned salary.

Subsequent amendments or alterations to the intiial stipulated CPF agreements must be properly sought from the approval of Singaporean. PAP should observe basic human rights and not simply take away our monies at their whims and fancies for self political or famiLEE gain.

Putting our money in CPF is like puttng money in the bank. The ownership of such assets still belong to Singaporean who should have the final say and control of their own savings without any interference.

It is undemocratic to have contract signed and approved by the person taking our money without the consent of the person giving it. The fundamental CPF contract is breached!

and i say "NO" to compulsory annuity or any of its derivatives.

How will you feel if you walked into the bank to withdraw your FD which has matured and the staff told you:

Sorry, the bank has decided to extend the due date thus you can't withdraw your money;

Sorry, you violated the minimum sum required for FD, so you cannot withdraw until further notice;

Sorry, the bank has decided to use your FD money to buy insurance policy or annuity for you;

Sorry, we think we can managed your money better so we decided not to let you take it out for your own use....etc

WTF. Who owns the money and where is my written approval for all the excuses given above.

The right is given to PAP once every 4-5 yrs. It will still be given in this
coming elections.

Singaporeans have the final say, and they say,

"Take it, its yours";)

66.6% have endorsed for PAP. So we are FamiLEE, We got our brothers and sister with LEES.

what issue? all these are done for the good of the people. our benevolent world class gahment is the best in the world. cpf is solid, strong and stable.singaporeans should count their blessings that our cpf is secured,fully guaranteed and super efficient. without cpf, singaporeans were doomed long ago. so be grateful and be thankful for our great leaders to have all the brilliant ideas to keep singapore going.

what recession here in singapore? look around, singaporeans are still going about their business with no problems. well done cpf!!! majulah singapura!!!

this is why I have not made a CPF contribution in the last 3 years.

The best fix we can have to this gahnemt is to get rid of it.
Go tell your contacts, children, relatives etc to vote any opposition that comes along in 2011. As for me I am ready to vote for any monkey.

A benevolent greedy gahment? They restored their pay first at the slightess hint of an improved economy. And also get a HUGE increment.

Recession?....just be patient and as in the first quarter 2009 you will see the big CRUNCH. More will get retrenched. MNCs will pay no heed to LSS pleadings as they have to survive. NEH will have a tough time juggling with the unemployment figures. Meanwhile the ministers will still be dining in fine rstaurants and living well with multi-million salaries paid byy TAXPAYERS who will be the victim of the recession.

Easier said than done. I always heard of people to vote against PAP but never heard of them saying to vote for PAP. Nevertheless, 66.6% will always prevail.

They did.
66.6% decided not to listen.

Hehehe, who prints the money? The money belongs to the state, and they are holding for you under your name only.
It's actually a long term loan from you to them.
They decide the interest rate and the terms of repayment unilaterally.

All you need to do is give some form of guarantee that you will not become a burden to society and I'm sure the government will figure something out for you.

Hahaha, I prefer to use my own money wisely myself for investments. As a lender, I would set the interest rates, repayment terms, and calculate the risk my self.

Unfortunately, the govenement keep changing the age limit for withdraw, due to incompetency when they invest wrongly.

Do you trust a Ho Jinx to invest for you? :D
