2 possibilities why this is happening.
First, Geographical shift due to the numerous earthquakes around the world. Singapore has sunk a few centimeters.
Now the water table is closer to the surface.
Second, too many buffets in singapore creating many many fatty fatty bom boms causing singapore to sink a few centimeters.
I'm learning towards the second possibility.
