There used to be a record shop in Outram Park that does this recording service. They charged by number of songs. I don't remember exactly how much but it was quite expensive back then in the 80s, but the recording quality was superb !
The tricky part is making sure the song doesn't get cut off due to to end of tape.
This was the tape I used. The dynamic range was simply outstanding for a normal tape !

Tape leecording was average 50cents per song KNN a good leecording artiste will fade the song towards the end of the tape KNN tape sound quality starts from lowest end red to green to purple to gold highest quality KNN

That has to be Martin Electronics. They sell vinyl records and repair sound systems. They moved to Burlington Sq after Outram. That old uncle just passed away 2 yrs ago at the age of 100.
